She was not physically able to do more. I think she worried about collapsing on stage, something I really wanted to see.

Me too, more than anything.

But, it really couldn't have turned out better, could it?

You MAY be on to something here. However I have doubts about the story itself because I read somewhere Hillary Clinton is the smartest woman in the world.

She may have run a “bad” campaign but millions of idiots voted for her anyway...so...”what difference does it make”?

She was a total incompetent as SOS, so, why should anyone be surprised that her campaign was a hot mess also?

I clicked on the link to the Politico article that was quoted. Saw this gem: “With Clinton’s team ignoring or rejecting requests, Democratic operatives in Michigan and other battleground states might have turned to the DNC. But they couldn’t; they weren’t allowed to ask for help.”

It reminds me of Chris Stevens’ multiple requests for beefier security before 9/11/12, and of the ignored and rejected requests for help in the middle of the battle at Benghazi.

Any fool with open eyes could see that this is what Hillary does. She is not one of the little people and doesn’t have to listen to them at all. They are nothing but annoying little pests to her.

She will always take comfort in her “popular vote” win!

I was thinking Bob Dole myself, but you could make a good case for Mitt, too.

I beg to disagree. The Hillary campaign did make a single fatal error.

They made Hillary the candidate. She was a loser. Don’t blame Podesta, or the Russians, or Huma. Hillary is and was a loser.

I read this article and the Politico one it is based on and in summary:

Hillary ran a top down campaign with an iron fist from Brooklyn (probably NY). IMHO she believed she was inevitable and didn't feel the need to listen to her own people. She made decisions based on her inevitability giving millions to the Senate campaigns for the illusion of dominance.

Folks in Michigan (and probably other states) who asked for lawn signs and to help were turned away demoralizing Democrats who probably ended up voting for Trump out of sheer frustration and probably griped to other Democrats as to how they were treated (further demoralizing other Democratic voters) producing a cascade effect.

Also Note: Politico put out this Article after the Recount. IMHO the Dems feel they can finally unload about Hillary, but it's too late. Pelosi and Schumer are in full control having secured their left-wing leadership.
