How Hillary Lost Michigan: Laugh out Loud Worthy
American Spectator ^ | December 14, 2016, 9:37 am | MELISSA MACKENZIE

Posted on 12/14/2016 7:04:33 AM PST by Behind Liberal Lines

Hillary Clinton wants to blame the Russians for her loss. It’s easy to see why...

a week-and-a-half out, the Service Employees International Union started hearing anxiety out of Michigan [and] union officials decided to reroute their volunteers...

Turn that bus around, the Clinton team ordered SEIU. Those volunteers needed to stay in Iowa to fool Donald Trump into competing there, not drive to Michigan, where the Democrat’s models projected a 5-point win through the morning of Election Day...

Michigan operatives relay stories like one about an older woman in Flint who showed up at a Clinton campaign office, asking for a lawn sign and offering to canvass, being told these were not “scientifically” significant ways of increasing the vote, and leaving, never to return. A crew of building trade workers showed up at another office looking to canvass, but, confused after being told there was no literature to hand out like in most campaigns, also left and never looked back...

If that doesn’t warm the cockles of your heart, nothing will....

Exit question: Did Hillary’s team count on voter fraud in Detroit to win the election? Is that why they didn’t bother?

Is this the only election that had some polls that were wrong?! I’m sick of hearing about it. She wasn’t campaigning heavily.

“...once he’s inaugurated, he’s going to do a deep dive into some of these voting irregularities and expose a lot of “ballot-stuffing.”

I hope you are correct. If he does this and pushes the implementation of reasonable voter I.D. laws the Democrats will not be able to take the White House again for decades.

If Hillary had won she would have flooded swing states with Muslims and further solidified the institutionalized fraud, and the Republicans would have been shut out of the White House for good. We really dodged a bullet here, thanks mainly to God’s mercy.

“I really question how effective campaigning is these days.”

I think Trump has just proven the effectiveness of old-fashioned campaigning. Of course personal appearances by a candidate aren’t going to sway either a staunch liberal or a staunch conservative. Trump’s rallies energized people who hadn’t voted for years, Those are the folks who made it impossible for the urban vote fraud by the Democrats to work in the swing states.

Hillary in constrast energized George Soros and the House of Saud and no one else.

What happened to Hillary:

TRUMP HAPPENED!!!

All the voter fraud plans Hillary and her minions had all set up with all the money in the coffers was out smarted by one man and his team...Trump and Team Trump!!!

The American Voters have had enough of the RATS, ALL OF THEM!!! They decided it wasn't going to happen this time and it didn't...

What your seeing are the riots in the streets; that didn't do any good; the re-counts, that actually helped Trump to raise his numbers higher, now they are on to the Electoral Voters...

Electoral Voters vote in their own States at the State Office...those that Hillary won, will vote for her and those that have Trump States will vote for Trump...it is that way in Our Constitution...the problem for Hillary and her minions are they think they are above Our Laws and can do what they want...and they think that because George Soros has meddled in our Government for years and thinks he can turn this ‘Electoral College’ to Hillary...so it's up to us to make sure that each Electoral College vote in OUR State is voted for who we voted for...

My belief is that Trump was asked, in the last debate, if he would abide by the election results and his answer of ‘No, if there is a whiff of fraud,’ scared the dems into halting plans for a major fraud through the electronic voting. Evidently, the fraud was detectable and they didn’t want to risk it, as they felt they had the votes, anyway in their blue wall states. Oops!
As for the stink about Russian hacking, that is a manufactured bargaining chip to get Trump to back off his threat to come after them for their illegal activities. In exchange for no investigations into the Clinton foundation’s activities and its ties to her government enablers, they will ‘allow’ Trump to gain office without their screams of him being illegitimate. Might work.

I think that if you go back to the days of Truman. He was crossed off as so far behind he couldn’t win. He got on a train, and hit the Heartland, talking straight to the people. Dewey sat pat giving occasional speeches that were canned and not related to the local community.

Move to 2012. Romney and Ryan are comfortably ahead, so it seemed. They do a Dewey and stop the campaigning. Obama goes on tv show after show and campaigns until he’s hoarse. He wins.

2016. Polls show Trump, like REagan, down in late October. He revs up the campaigning, doing 3,4 and 5 per day. Clinton does a Dewey and sits pat.

In short, I think people wait until the last minute to hear the candidate, watch the debates. Trump won this thing in the last month with his airplane stops.

I’ve been of the opinion for most of this election cycle that most polls were not making any real attempt to use statistical methods to determine the preferences of the electorate, but rather had become instruments by which the elite media and political class could influence the preferences of voters. Subtle propaganda, if you will.

Except for one: USC Dornsife / LA Times Presidential Election Poll. Better called a “survey”, the methodolog was completely differnt from even other tracking polls and in the end, was one of the few that predicted the outcome accurately.

I say this will become the model for future polling/surveying, replacing the flawed and easily-manipulated conventional polls. Your thoughts?

That would be a big problem here in northern NJ as well (if they re-purposed the Meadowlands as many indicated they wished to); it is too close to areas where it is difficult to even run a Wal0Mart because of the rampant crime committed by an impulsive, low-information population nearby (the Wal-Marts aren’t in the ghettoes, but are magnets for the denizens of them).
The question failed on the ballot because Atlantic City’s failure was too easy to see for all, and it pre-dated the recent casino closures. Parking lots on the way into the city served buses carrying casino workers from Philadelphia into AC every day, while AC’s population lay around stealing, getting high, and selling women. The casino revenues built some pretty government buildings like schools, but did nothing for the creatures swarming a couple of blocks from the glitzy strip.

Yes, I remember the denouement of the Atlantic City boardwalk. WHAT a shame.

"... If he does this and pushes the implementation of reasonable voter I.D. laws ..."

.... That is exactly how the idea of Voter ID law should be portrayed to the public to gain support. If you noticed over the past 8 years the Democrats always use those precursory words of "Reasonable, Common Sense... " in front of any controversial Bill they are trying to pass such as "Reasonable, Common Sense Gun Control Laws" and "Reasonable, Common Sense Immigration Reform" etc etc. It is an effective persuasive technique of using descriptive words to garner support. A tactic used in the Art of Persuasion.

..... . After all .... Who could be against anything that would be "Reasonable and Common Sense" right! The Trump administration should do the same thing and describe his Voter ID Law as ... "Reasonable, Common Sense Voter ID Reform."

.... Might sound stupid ... but it works.

“I believe Trump is keeping this low key for now but once he’s inaugurated, he’s going to do a deep dive into some of these voting irregularities and expose a lot of “ballot-stuffing.” The transition period is probably not the best time for Trump to show his hand on this.

I will be very disappointed if Trump does not follow through on this once in office. I believe the Dems have had an unfair advantage for decades now in the inner cities because the Republicans have been so quick to roll over and accept blatant vote fraud out of fear of being called racists”

We need a Voter Fraud Prevention Act. This would have to apply only to any election in which one or more candidates for federal office appear on the ballot, as the feds cannot interfere with what the states do in purely local elections. Note that we have to be CERTAIN that Trump’s choice for the Supreme Court has been approved and seated before this law passes, so as to have a realistic chance of having the Act deemed Constitutional. Here are some suggested terms:

1) NO non-citizens allowed to even register, let alone vote. MANDATORY link between election boards and immigration. MANDATORY and PERMANENT removal from the US for even attempting to register to vote.

2) MANDATORY photo ID. Pay for ID for anyone who cannot afford it, including bus or taxi fare to whatever offices are necessary. Do anything else necessary to remove this particular provision from any danger of being struck down as “discriminatory” in any way. Make ALL provisions of the Act severable - so that if this particular part is deemed unconstitutional, the rest stays valid.

3) MANDATORY hook-up between Social Security and election boards, so as to immediately remove dead people from the rolls, within literally days of their death. There would also have to be a provision that required that all people who died before the effective date of the Act would have to be immediately stricken from the voter rolls.

4) MANDATORY hook-up between all state DMVs and all state election boards, to prevent someone who moves from State A to State B from even being registered in State A.

5) Eliminate the Motor Voter Act - DMVs don’t check citizenship to issue DLs, so remove them from the process. If you care to vote, visit your local election board.

6) No voter registration allowed within 2 calendar weeks of the beginning of voting in any election (NOT Election Day - many states have early voting, and this must be accounted for). This provision allows for voters to be checked out, and minimizes “provisional votes” (which never seem to be checked out).

7) Mandatory removal of ALL voters from voter registration lists every 10 years - to catch whomever may have fallen through the cracks despite the safeguards mentioned above.

7) Mandatory mark via indelible ink for everyone who has voted - no more getting on the bus and voting 6 times, often across state lines.

8) Mandatory federal felony status for every person convicted of voter fraud - including not just those who vote more than once, but those organizing such efforts. This would necessarily mean a PERMANENT revocation of the right to vote.

That plan would cut voter fraud by at least 99% - and that’s good enough for me.

At this point some parts of the boardwalk are notorious for robberies; it was safer when you had an unbroken chain of functioning casinos (you could pass through without even stepping outside, which was nice in the winter), but as I understand it the gambling has shifted to one particular part (maybe separate from the main strip) and the rest has basically been abandoned to the bipedal hyenas. This is all second-hand, as I haven’t been there in over a decade (even though it is only about 2 1/2 hours south of me). I don’t have the means to gamble anymore anyway, but when I did the CT casinos offered a nicer environment for a comparable ride. Now there are casinos even closer (in NE PA - a little over an hour west from me), and they helped seal the doom of AC. Shorter ride, nicer area, less crime, etc.

Every Democrat presidential or Senate candidate since Reagan has relied on Detroit to get elected. I have a feeling Trump has changed that. I’m certain he’s behind the aggressive approach to Detroit’s “numbers”.

Exactly-it’s what I said all along. Once you start believing your own hype... you are done for.

How’s bout NO HYPE, and just run on your demonstrated character, personal merit and record of achievement... Oh, well... that means Hillary couldn’t even be nominated!! :)

“The criminal party (DIMs) always relies on dishonesty, criminal behavior, fraud and so forth to “win”. These criminals should be investigated and arrested.”

And they have the next two years to hone their cheating skills more finely. And a full four years before the 2020 election to achieve perfection and a “win”. Trump’s FEC people absolutely MUST find a way to curtail the cheating. That includes requiring that the counties/states to clean up the registration lists (no corpses’ names) and monitor it closely. Verify names (legal voters and no duplicates) and addresses (no empty lots). Verify qualifications (no illegals). Find methods of voting that can’t be messed with. The news this morning showed election workers running the same ballot through the Scantron reader multiple times, and being blatant about it.

What the Hell? To quote the hysterical snowflake in the election night videos: “Somebody better fix this sh!t!!”

Shrillary aimed her message at

1. young people who are NOTORIOUSLY bad voters. Worst voters: 18-year-olds; second worst voters: 19-year-olds; etc.;

2. Hispanics, who are very conservative, but will always eat the free tacos [BUT they didn't vote for her];

3. Women who, it was thought, would vote for her JUST BECAUSE it was "time" for a woman POTUS;

====================================

4. ALSO, BillyGoatHubby, the Great Liar, didn't DELUGE the media with "Vote for mah wife because she is the GREATEST."

5. Another giant mistake: Shrillary IGNORED her male base because, IMHO, she hates men.
So, Democrat male voters, the IGNORED ONES, might have voted en masse for Trump JUST to have a voice.

6. The media was SO relentlessly nasty towards Trump that some people voted AGAINST the media. Not a bad idea, of course.

====================
Bridge deduction: Trump "trumped" all her bad cards and she lost the game.

Boo-hoo, wah!

Turn’s out, the media was once again spreading fake news.
