Andrea Bocelli is being personally approached by President-elect Donald Trump to perform at the inauguration.

The famed Italian tenor is performing at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday and is said to be meeting with Trump on Friday.

A source exclusively told Page Six, “Trump has a long-standing relationship with Bocelli, and wants to ask him in person to perform. The plan is to have acts at the inauguration that are meaningful for Trump, and he’s a huge fan of Bocelli.”

In 2010, Trump hosted an evening with Bocelli at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.

Trump and his family were also present at Bocelli’s packed free Central Park concert in 2011.

Colony Capital mogul Tom Barrack is in charge of inaugural events and has been working with famed “Apprentice” producer Mark Burnett on the lineup.

But, the source said, “They are keeping their cards very close to their chests,” adding, “One thing is for sure, you won’t see Beyoncé lip-syncing again this year,” as she did during President Obama’s 2013 inauguration.

Not familiar with Roma. Burnett will do a good job.

I know. And the media hasn’t a clue that we’re on to them.

Trump doesn’t need them at all.

He can get his message out in thirty seconds any time he likes.

Ted Nugent is a patriot, but he is also too much the loose cannon this soon after a difficult campaign. Ted still likes insulting people for the shock value. Kid Rock is also that way, but less confrontational.

I hope he invites the opera soprano Renee Flemming who sang the National Anthem at the 2014 Super Bowl, it still gives me goose bumps and it’s my favorite rendition. For a listen:

If I were Trump I’d say “Because of Obama, the nation is broke. We can’t afford a lavish inauguration. We’ll televise it but I’ll just have the Chief Justice swear me in at a hotel ballroom”

This would also take the wind out of protester’s sails

Bocelli (maybe) at the inauguration instead of rappers and Beyoncé? But I thought Trump’s election was supposed to lower the cultural quality of DC? (This was a MSM meme about two weeks ago.)

I suppose Bocelli is better than Snoop Whatever, but surely Trump could get someone who performs at least occasionally at the Metropolitan Opera.

I recall one GOP event where the Beach Boys were scheduled to perform. I think it was Al Haig who cancelled them because they were too risque’ or something. (Or did I dream this?)

Trump should stick a finger in the media’s eyes and have the Bolzoi Ballet and Moscow Symphony perform.

Right, Trump no longer needs the media and his need for them ended the minute he won the election.

He’s blown past them, and they’ll spend their days trying to catch up to Trump, as they struggle to be relevant. Trump exposed them all but good. For the most part, the collusive biased lying media has become an irrelevant joke.

Come on, Lee. Being a “loose cannon” won us this election!

I say put Ted and Kid on the same stage!!!

Oh, that would be great!

Not so great, though, for the many high school marching bands who come from all over the country to take part in the Inaugural Parade.
