Thanks for posting that. We do have a huge difference of opinion here on FR about him. I don't like him, but I think I can be objective about him and what he'd bring to the Trump administration:

1. I think he's a smart guy whose expertise would be valuable.

2. His long track record as a globalist puts him completely at odds with the interests of the American people.

I would have no problem with Trump reaching out to him periodically as a consultant for his expertise, but there's no way in hell this guy should be serving in any executive branch capacity.

And just to be clear, I did not want to see him as SoS, but the deputy in charge of running the day to day activities is another story. Foggy Bottom is a swamp all of it’s own and it NEEDS to be drained and I think Bolton is the guy to do it.

Dig into his track record in Washington as a political appointee and a "talking head" and you'll find his career littered with cases where he put foreign interests ahead of our own.

He never met a U.S. military conflict that he didn't want someone else's kids to fight.

Bolton's expertise is foreign affairs, not organizational management. You are presenting Bolton as the guy to fill a role that may be completely alien to him. If you're looking to "drain the swamp" you don't hire someone who has been living in its fetid stench for more than three decades.

There are plenty of reasons not to like him, but Mitt Romney would be a better guy for this role than anyone else who comes to mind.

The Snake department is especially in need of a Herculean clean out. Bolton is being fought precisely because of this simple fact. Just look at who opposes him and you’ll see much of what threatens America -/ our actual enemies like the islamonazi- soroznazi-JStreet “conspiracy of conveniencE”———— and some whose willingness to defend us has been in doubt for years (because they’re isolationists or appeasers or useful idiots to our enemies or sellout traitors ). This is a very teachable moment

J street is a viper’s nest of anti- American and anti- semtitx sedition brought to us by SorozNazi $$ and a few self- hating jino’s as front men. Anything they want must be Very very Carefully scrutinized. I’d like to see SorozNazi , j street , and the Muslim brotherhood CAir all thrown in gitmo

Kentuckians should hang their heads in shame for having elected (and re-elected repeatedly) Paul and McScrotumneck. They are the two WORST GOPe Senators in that body today! In their way the Pauls are as worthless as the Booshes.

If Rand Paul is against Bolton’s nomination, it must be good for our country.

It’s nice to see Rand Paul allied with Soros Street against a Goldwater conservative like Bolton.

I remember Rand Paul voting for 0bola’s appointments because it was important to respect the president’s wishes.
