The New York Times reported Monday that Republican president-elect Donald Trump was considering former primary opponent Carly Fiorina for the nations top intelligence post.
Mr. Trump will meet on Monday with Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive, to discuss the job of director of national intelligence, The Times reported, citing a senior transition official.
If selected, Fiorina would be the first female director. She would also be the first director with no prior government experience, although she was the chair of the informal CIA External Advisory Board under the Bush administration.
Fiorinas selection would be unusual given the lingering bad blood between the two following the primary race. Trump told voters they should vote for Fiorina because she was unattractive, telling Rolling Stone, Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?

Is this a joke? Director of intelligence?
Hee hee.. good one.
Well, we know that none of their printers would work...
Don’t believe it. She’s a loser...and Trump doesn’t hire losers.
...don’t like it
Allen West!
The main thing I want from a prospective DNIC is the drive and determination to exterminate the DNC moles and rats from our IC ranks - every damn one of them.
If she can do this, I have no problem then. But I suspect that she cannot and will have to depend on a good deputy and THAT person will be critical.
Seriously????
NO NO NO NO NO! A thousand times no.
Please, let this be (yet more) NYT effluvia.
Sounds good to me!
Oops - not NYT.
Need to put glasses on.
That stupid Cruz VP idea was the dumbest thing I have ever seen in politics
The DNI better know something about cyber security. I like the fact that Carly comes from the private sector IT world.
“Trump told voters they should vote for Fiorina because she was unattractive,...”
I have a problem with this article when the main PREMISE is written incorrectly.
Good grief. No.
This has to just be a lead balloon for making those who supported her feel better or something, I can’t imagine for one minute this is a serious thing.
True. My HP printer is always saying, printer offline...and it is a pain!
NO! Just NO!
