Green Party candidate Jill Stein concedes Michigan recount is over but vows to take fight over voter reform to 'court of public opinion'
Stein raised over $7m to fund recount in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin
Reversal of results in those states would hand presidency to Hillary Clinton
Michigan court put a halt to the recount on Friday Donald Trump won Michigan by 10,704 votes, though Stein alleges voter fraud
Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate in the recent presidential election, conceded on Friday that there would not be a recount of votes in Michigan.
During a rally that drew dozens of supporters in frigid Detroit temperatures, Stein slammed the voting system in the Wolverine State, The Detroit News reported.
The Michigan Supreme Court put a halt to the recount a day earlier by a vote of 3-2, ending whatever faint hopes there were of going over all 4.8million ballots.
Stein insists that if the recount went ahead, Donald Trump, who officially won the state by 10,704 votes over Hillary Clinton, would have his victory overturned.

She’s a real “tool”...that’s another word for a**.
The commie left has moved on to their new fiasco. “The Russkis Did It”. Who knows what they’ll come up with next. They all are going through a meltdown. Pathetic.
Go after voter fraud in ‘Rat Urban Utopias and you’re on, Jill.
na na - na naah

hey hey hey
goood byyyeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s the two finger salute for?
I don’t care if she concedes. In fact, she should be prosecuted for demanding a recount without any evidence of fraud. She should be charged with undermining the electoral process for personal gain and underming the legitimacy of the victor to weaken his Presidency.
Court of public opinion =
VOTER ID....
Ne careful what you ask for, beotch!
Yes, many here on FR would support reform as well...I remember Gore winning 104% of the vote in Philly.
The court of public opinion spoke on Nov. 8th. YOU LOST!
She's asking for a couple of volunteers to help her carry her suitcases of money to the bank.
Jill cleaned up, that's for damn sure!
Good. I think she should also have to pay back all the money she raised to pay for the recount.
Did she ask for more contributions?
Bummer, ditch
Hardastarboard insists that if the votes had been properly counted, Hardastarboard would have been President. See how easy that is? I don't have to prove it. I only have to allege it. Talk about appealing to the liberal denial of reality.
Clinton needed all 3 — MI, WI, PA — to overturn the election.
Trump only needed to retain 1 to stay above 269 EV’s and win.
LibDems are now trying to find other ways. Thus, ‘the Russians hacked, so a judge needs to install Hillary’ is a narrative HuffPo is pushing. So far, the LibDems have not said what the hacks did to sway the election, but this is one of those ‘seriousness of the charge’ things.
These LibDems trying everything they can think of are reminiscent of the NeverTrumpers in the late primaries and before and after the Republican convention. [Many of whom are still whining and wailing.]
The time for all this is _before_ voting if course.
I’ll applaud the effort if it’s to forward vote integrity but that’s not what this was.
If she were for vote integrity all this woulda happened before the primaries.
If she was really concerned about vote fraud she would push for voter ID.
Inauguration Day is going to be interesting. We should start a pool on how many arrests get made from Michael Moore’s protests and during the balls.
The loony left will be out in force that day and night.
So she insists that if the recount were allowed to continue that Trump’s victory would be overturned. That is all we are going to hear for years now.
She could use Lotus 123 to do the math and turn over the saved data on a floppy.
