Secretary of Labor can’t really do jack in regards to policy related to illegals and I’m sure Trump/Sessions will keep him in check.

The point of view that Puzder espoused in that 2013 op-ed is commonly believed. It is not a disqualifier in and of itself. But Puzder must have assured President-elect Trump that he will carry out Trump's vision and policies. Otherwise I highly doubt that Puzder would have been nominated.
This is the way it has always been and will always be until the American people walk to the border and SHUT IT DOWN.

the best way to implement a change in policy is to have someone from the status quo sell the change and not someone who is not trusted by the status quo.
I don’t know this guy. But we shouldn’t jump to conclusions.... just as we shouldn’t jump to conclusions that the guy who appears to be in sync with Trump will succeed at his position.

This one bothers me.
He won’t be making immigration decisions...he’s a successful businessman who knows what it takes to be successful and what hurts or helps one’s ability to be successful. I also don’t care what he thinks about airport security or education.....
He is doing the right thing, getting all viewpoints on board. It’s Trump that weighs it and decides at the end. Labor secretary isn’t immigration secretary anyway.

I kind of agree with him at this point, but it was NOT like this in the 70’s when I grew up. We all worked and did whatever jobs we could find, I delivered Newspapers at 10, I did all sorts of menial jobs growing up for spending money. My brother got his PHD in Physics at UCLA while being a cook a Bobs Big Boy. American Kids were not ashamed to work back then, now they are spoiled rotten little snowflakes that think everything should be handed to them.
I tend to agree with Pudzur. Hire the best worker you can.
Trump has the two word solution for problem employees; You're Fired. Besides, when a sack full of illegals removed from this country and welfare is no longer a perk for not working, many of those jobs will be a lot more appealing.
