There seems to be a growing sentiment in China, against the west.
Here are two youtubes (recently made) from two vloggers who are actually now living in China, who have both married Chinese ladies, they have both been there for quite a while. A number of years.
Both are, in my experience, good links for information.
Both are saying China is already becoming anti-western, in part. Both have lived there for years. They in fact, have made videos together, in the past.

Just saying. It seems likely, this will continue, in part, but I am just posting this to point out, it seems to already be developing.
I lived in China a long time ago. I had not experienced anything like what they both describe. It seems to be a very new development, if it is accurate.

Good. I’ve had to deal with the Chinese regarding business and hated it and them. Glad he is pissing them off.
I live in China. At the time, they were anti-American. This is not too long after the Tiananmen massacres.
Everyone I know that does business with China hates doing business there. It’s a small set, but it is telling.
I was there before the Tiananmen incident.
Many changes, since then.
invite her to the inauguration and inform the Chinese the bigger stink they make the closer the diplomatic ties to Taiwan... everyone talks about how great Nixon was for normalizing relations to china. I think it was a mistake.

So what reason do they give for it. No other viable business choice?
I mean, reason for doing the business in China in the first place.
We may enter an era where “made in China” will be the sign of a bygone age. Kind of like antiques.
I hadn't seen either of those two videos before, but I did previously watch one entitled "You will never be Chinese" in which they discuss the attitude you mention.

I am thinking that this developing attitude is the consequence of China once again becoming prominent and powerful on the world stage. At one time China was regarded as incredibly arrogant by the various Western powers, and this was at a time hundreds of years in the past. The opium wars and it's aftermath, followed by the Japanese occupation, then Mao's "great leap forward" had taxed them past the breaking point.
Now that they are back on their feet and once again emerging as a world power, I think they are simply reverting back to their previous attitude regarding Western barbarians.
I am encouraged that Christianity is making dramatic inroads into China, because if the trends continue, they will be a rather formidable foe which I would rather not have to face in an adversarial role.
It varies. Corporate edict in some cases. In another, perceived cost advantages plus need to have production there, as their product is a component of other products made there.
But a lot of the cost advantages aren’t as perceived, seems a common refrain.
The situation taketh away as well as giveth.
At some point it will suck sufficiently to prove unattractive.
Spiritual Christianity (as opposed to veneer churchianity which in the recent past has become more and more common in the west) will encourage peaceful and gainful resolutions of difficulties, because it will operate under the grace of God.
Good, then perhaps you can give some perspective. When I saw the Tianamen thing building up, it looked to me like Liberal Western @$$holes, and especially Western Journalists were deliberately trying to psych up the locals to challenge the authority of the Chinese Government by making demands.
At that time, it looked to me like China was slowly adopting more freedoms and slowly loosening the restrictions it had on people. It also looked to me like the best thing to do was to be civil and not get pushy. Getting pushy was exactly the wrong thing to do, so naturally liberal western "journalists" were agitating for people to demand more freedoms!
In other words, @$$hole Westerners were inciting a backlash from the Government, and doing so because they were childishly impatient for reform.
They did not take into account the issue of "face", and they acted as though they were in a Liberal Western Democracy instead of a nation that had not so very long ago been very brutal to it's own people.
This is what I saw from watching the news and reading various articles on the subject. From your perspective, how far off am I?
