Chris Cuomo Sneers: Climate Change Skepticism Like Opposing Interracial Marriage
newsbusters.org ^ | 12/8/16 | Scott Whitlock

New Day co-anchor Chris Cuomo on Thursday continued the media freak out over Donald Trump picking a climate change doubter to run the Environmental Protection Agency. He even outrageously compared those with similar beliefs to past opposition of interracial marriage.

While discussing the appointment of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to run the EPA, Cuomo ranted to CNN co-anchor Alisyn Camerota, “People thought the world was flat.” He continued, “People thought blacks and whites shouldn't marry. People thought blacks shouldn't be equal. That doesn't mean you accept it as fact as a leader.”

I wouldn’t have been much more surprised if he’d said “...like opposing intersex (i.e., hetero) marriage.”

The Dems have become so Bizarro, nothing that comes out of their mouths is completely unexpected.

Chris, to see a racist look at yourself and your white peers at Certainly Not News.

Your beloved Certainly Not News is being sued for racism by the blacks working under the racist whites at CNN like you and your elite white family.

Black CNN employees in Atlanta sue the company for racial discrimination

Black employees of CNN are suing the company and its affiliates for racial discrimination.

The class action was filed in Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday on behalf of two workers, Celeslie Henley and Ernest Colbert Jr, but alleges widespread discrimination throughout the organizations.

‘Dramatic’ differences in pay, harsher evaluations for black males and fewer available promotions are among evidence of the prejudice, the lawsuit alleges.

CNN declined to comment on the case when asked to comment on the case when contacted. TBS and Time Warner did not respond to requests. . .

Chris is typical prog tool, stating that if you hold the view that science is NEVER settled, you're a racist. The stupidity of liberals is breathtaking.

Chris, I'm triggered by your euro-ethnic whiteness, and demand that you CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE!

If he were standing in front of me, I believe an elbow strike might occur somehow...he isn’t worth injuring my fist or palm.

Being in a mixed marriage for 20+ yrs gets me kind of ticked when liberals say stuff like this.

They are the bigots.

Conservatives never blink, never turn away, never comment when my wife and I are seen together. The libs make all kinds of phony fawning, phony extra attention. Ugh.

"What weird analogies."

Yep, like the Pope saying that watching "fake news" will literally lead to people eating excrement.

“People thought the world was flat.”

This is nonsense. From the time of Eratosthenes(276 BC - 194 BC), every educated person knew that the Earth was round, and knew how big it was. See the book Inventing the Flat Earth for the origin of the myth that people once believed the Earth was flat. From the classical Greeks through the Middle Ages up to the present day, people knew the Earth was round, and by an ingenious observation, Eratosthenes succeeded in determining its circumference, to an accuracy that agrees well with modern measurements.

Lord God in heaven. Whether blacks should marry whites is an “opinion”. Global Warming is a debate over “facts” not “opinion”. Totally different. If it is so credible why did proponents see fit to shift the debate by changing “global warming” to “Climate change?”.

Chris Cuomo Sneers: Climate Change Skepticism Like Opposing Interracial Marriage

That comparison is idiotic. Third grade logic.

The interracial issue is pure emotion.
Climate change is a meaningless, nebulous religion that although it should inspire science it has degenerated into the worst sort of emotion--- religion, which is immune to logic or science.

The very common phrase Climate Change Science

is a moronic oxymoron, like stoned hippies of years past with their equally moronic "Environment Now!!

I have been meaning to repeat as often as I can the biggest lie of the Global Cooling, Global Warming, Climate Change, Carbon Credits opportunists, and their blatant unscientific, provable fraud :

"97% of 'Climate Scientists' support Climate Change."

To begin with NO REAL SCIENTIST DENIES CLIMATE CHANGE.
CLIMATE HAS CHANGED CONSTANTLY AS LONG AS THE PRESENT WORLD HAS EXISTED.

The heart of the conflict between the fake "scientists" and real ones is the claim that the cause is anthropogenic.
That is physically impossible.

Aside from the fraud involved in the phrase "Support Climate Change," the math involved is so tortured and false that it is beyond brainless.

The actual facts are as quoted below.

Surely the most suspicious “97 percent” study was conducted in 2013 by Australian scientist John Cook — author of the 2011 book Climate Change Denial: Heads in the Sand and creator of the blog Skeptical Science (subtitle: “Getting skeptical about global warming skepticism.”). In an analysis of 12,000 abstracts, he found “a 97% consensus among papers taking a position on the cause of global warming in the peer-reviewed literature that humans are responsible.” “Among papers taking a position” is a significant qualifier: Only 34 percent of the papers Cook examined expressed any opinion about anthropogenic climate change at all. Since 33 percent appeared to endorse anthropogenic climate change, he divided 33 by 34 and — voilà — 97 percent!
