#1 I don’t see how you think that two men who are dead are capable of gloating, but obviously you must know “since God speaks to you”.
#2 You sure ain’t from this neck of the woods if you can equate his name to “a boy named Sue”. Pretty typical name for around here.
#3 Please park your rear on most any corner of Americus and find out about the locals. Shootings, drugs, stabbings, you name it are standard fare most nights. I imagine you will end up in the hospital or the morgue in about a day with your do-good, they just need understanding and love attitude.

Life on earth is a morality story yes. It is not the end goal of our existence no.
When you can stop distorting, then maybe we can talk.
By the way, I don’t just seek to “do good.”
I seek to “do EXCELLENT.”
They DO need the love of God, like a drowning man needs air. No love in = no love out. That’s an ironclad rule of the creation.
There is one more thing that can block this equation, and that is the PRIDE of people. Some people are so PROUD that they will never, ever yield to the love of God. Like the drowning man who hurls the life preserver away.
I’d suggest you examine yourself in a mirror to see if you are in such a condition yourself, or if you may be skating perilously close to it.
Might I go to such a place? My answer is an emphatic maybe. It would have to be the right place, the place that the power of God actually wanted me to go.
There’s a reason Christianity is marked with martyrdoms, followed by faith revolutions. It’s because it does not obey the rules of the world.
Somebody going in there without this divine backing would be doing it for pride alone... and would indeed be a sitting duck.
But ma’am, I might as well say that if your moniker is about yourself, that sure looks like a person who is full of herself.
I knew another “mom” like that. God took her from this life early. Later I understood it was for excellent reason. I had been polluted enough as it were, and it took literal decades to get out from under that and thoroughly under God’s love. She apparently thought herself higher than God. She, by the way, WAS a “lefty do gooder” to STRANGERS — but in her own pride, which never let her call a stop to an attempt or to find a balance. FAMILY were her emotional slaves, to be acidly criticized to keep them in line. I smell the same kind of sulfur wafting from your direction. Maybe God was merciful to your boys, to let them die rather than suffer that.
It ended up, anyhow, that I did not need to rebuke that. God rebuked it.
But to recap, ma’am. Yes I might go, if it was the right place, at the right time.
There’s earthly armor, and then there’s spiritual armor. Read the gospels sometime. You’ll see Jesus walking right out of crowds that wanted to stone Him... as though they had been stunned into being oblivious. When the Roman guard came for Him, He only had to acknowledge who He was, and they fell backwards. Until His crucifixion, when it was finally necessary for Him to die for the sins of the world. Including your sins, if you will permit Him to do so.
I do know that when it’s not your time to go, God will keep it from happening. I can gladly tell anyone how this has happened to me, over and over.
Does this mean I will march right in there just to prove a point to you? No, not for that purpose. It has to be to glorify the Lord and that means He sets the time and place.
And for all I know this may be all slinging of pearls before swine and you’ll cuss me out. Fine. Go your way. You shall meet with God again some day, and the voice may be less friendly at that time.
