I have this queasy feeling that there is some sinister plot by gay activists to “select” certain Christian businesses to target. This has been happening with increasing frequency.
Whatever happened to private business’s “We reserve the RIGHT to refuse service”??????
Look for musicians to be targeted next.
The feds are not constitutionally authorized to take any action against private discrimination and state laws that interfere with private discrimination are unjust and should be overturned.
Liberals seem to think that you give up your first amendment rights if you choose to earn your living by starting your own business to supply people a service.
i.e. if you want true religious freedom, you may only be an employee. And even then it’s baloney.
The only thing I can think of in a case like this is that they just do a really, REALLY bad job. When someone complains, they can just say, “We’re artists. Our hearts just weren’t in it. Sorry.”
I wonder when they will start jailing Muslims for not serving the gay community?

If the perverts wanted business cards printed up for their driveway cleaning service and they were refused because of their sexually deviant lifestyle, then this ordinance would apply.
Like the sexual deviants that went to a deli and were served lots of times, but when they wanted to deli to cater their wedding, they refused. It’s the event, not the people, that the company can not support.
First fines, now jail. Why stop there. Put anyone to death who disagrees with the ruling elites.

Yes you HAVE to because the government says you WILL. Its not like them going into Hallmark and buying a box of invitations: that agrees with the judge. But to force the artists to create for something so intrinsicly wrong is an affirmation by the artist of the subject.
This is BS. Refusal to serve an event, as opposed to a person, should always be permissible.
Hopefully, after January 20, 2017, these type of cases won’t come up again.
I heard on a news program the other morning that the father of one of the victims in the Oakland fire blames society for his daughter’s death.
He said that she was trans and as such didn’t feel welcome going out in public and therefore had to go to underground activities such as this. What bs.

It’s government all over again. Think of it like Welfare and entitlements. For the Government to give money and other benefits to those who receive welfare and entitlements they first had to TAKE IT AWAY from someone else in the form of taxes, fees or fines.
So for these people who claim extra-special rights to receive them then others had to have their rights taken away under penalty of fines or imprisonment.

Bring back the right of free association and that a business has the right to do business under it’s own terms. Those businesses that are to onerous to their customers will go out of business as their potential customers refuse to do business with them.
