Leo took his written by someone else line “I’m KING of the WORL” a little too much to heart!!~
Trump’s greeting, “Leo, too bad your movie tanked - why should the rest of us follow it down the tubes?”
What better way to form a team? Give all equal time, confirm your assumptions, and make the choice would most likely drop them, stop them cold. His meeting with Gore is a prime example.
Keep up the schedule Mr. Trump. You are MORE than deserving of the salary you plan to draw. Americans have found a WINNER in you. Ahead of schedule, under budget will soon be the American motto.
Trump suffering fools for the good of our country.
We need conservatives to get uptight over these meetings, because your angst helps liberals believe Trump is really on their side.
Keep it up, Buttercup!
Bingo. Trump understands this as a business man. Anyone who works in business, especially the corporate world, knows that a corporation is filled with many idiots who everyone knows are idiots yet need to feel important. So you throw them a bone, invite them to a meetings, ask them a few questions but don’t really care what any of them have to say. My boss would be an example of one of these ppl. Trump is genius. He looks like he is building a consensus among his critics, builds some positive press with the LIV crowd, but in effect he could probably care less.
That said, Trump has long said that he is for clean coal and clean technologies. Trump is all about jobs and the economy. If Leo actually has something of value to add, Trump will take advantage of it. This is his pragmatic side. Not everything in life should generate a knee jerk reaction just because many here think Leo is a little twit (which he is).
Rush going over this now. Just brilliant. Trump meets with these yo-yos, goes “Uh huh, uh huh.” They walk out thinking they achieved something, Trump names Big Oil anti Green guy to head EPA. Love it.
He is disarming them.
The blow hard’s get to feel important and Trump has a good laugh.
Penn can”t be far behind?
Government funding of windmills has made electricity bills skyrocket in Ontario and made life difficult for seniors, especially, and sent businesses elsewhere.
Meeting with DE-CRapio for 90 minutes!!??
Really? is this true? how about 9 seconds- if that.
Anyone know why Trump would waste this amount of time?
The 90 "minutes" is Inception Time. For Trump, it was a mere flash.
Apparently this homowood hypocrite rides in his green private jet and yacht. Oh, I forgot, he has a greenhouse too. And, what qualifies this reader of movie scripts as a scientist?
See #7
Yup, my read on the situation too.
Well Donald Trump DID promise that he is going to bring everybody together.
Even the B.S. artists... Donald will find something nice to say to them. Even if it’s something like nice idea, now all we need is to wait for a world in which something like that actually works.
Why doesn't this upset the environmentalists?
Maybe Donald tells them “hey, why can’t you put some bird shields on those things? I really feel bad for the eagles.”
Yes, that is one of the real tragedies of windmills. Birds killed; bats as well.
And bats eat tons of mosquitoes.
Yoy want 1,000`s of green jobs? Then go create your own green jobs. But don`t ask us to subsidize them.
Bird shield grates would help a lot, though adding weight to the assembly.
I really wish that people in the entertainment industry would stick to their line of work and avoid politics. Pop celebrities mixing in politics rarely ends well. Leo is a good actor. And I really hate spending money on a movie only to be irritated all the way through it because of the actor/ress’s politics. If he wants to be politically involved, fine. Donate money. But when you cross the line from actor into that of political personality, you invariably damage your reputation and piss off people with opposing political views. And yes, that goes for the very few conservatives out that way as well.
The smartest people in Hollywood are the ones who answer political questions with “no comment.”
