During a Wall Street Journal Future of Cybersecurity breakfast, former NSA director Michael Hayden suggested banning whole categories of guns “might” need to be part of America’s “counterterrrorism discussion” going forward.

He specifically referenced the June 12 Orlando Pulse terror attack and suggested there “might be some guns out there that nobody should be able to buy.”

Like yelling “fire” in a crowded theater, I’m thinking maybe it ought to be illegal to be talking about banning guns unless it’s in the explicit context of repealing the 2nd Amendment. It’s a kind of treason to publicly conspire to overthrow the Constitution in an unconstitutional way.

Putting Michael Hayden in prison for treason might be a good first step in fighting terrorism, too. Just putting him in the dock in federal court would be a good lesson to a lot of Obama officials, for example.

The Second Amendment is the only counter-terrorism discussion necessary.

-- Bush appointee who started the massive surveillance of all of our phone calls. --

The surveillance was going on already. I speculate the reason Bush brought it more in the open was to condition the public to accept a mild form of Big Brother.

He’s right.
If we ban ARs in Nebraska, thugs in Chiraq will stop capping one another with 9mm pistols.
But only in Hayden’s Bizarro World.

Our nation is under attack, criminals can always get guns.
We are not living in peace, taking away our means of defense now is crazy.

“ban certain types of Politicians...”

Ya know in a way, that is happening. Many fools look at Trump thru the lens of a what we think politicians are supposed to be and then they freak out when he isn’t one.

He bypasses the MSM thru Youtube, Tweets, and thank you rallies goes direct to the people.

He isn’t a politician, he is a businessman and more importantly a leader who is surrounding himself with leadership talent from the Military and Business sector.

Then the fear sets in, OMG what if he is actually good at it? and MAGA actually starts to happen over the next four years?

Then politicians, like the MSM become Dinosaurs and obsolete. What a shame...

With all the money in politics maybe we can call them Dino-Soros

I think Mike’s onto something here. Banning guns doesn’t go far enough though. The Boston Marathon bombers used pressure cookers to kill and maime, we should ban pressure cookers. The Ohio state slasher used a car and a knife for his weapons, we should ban cars and knives....

You swore a solemn oath to protect the constitution against enemies, not to subvert it for our enemies. Dumbass.
