The majority of crimes committed with guns are done by Democrats. Just ban DemocRats from owning guns.

We should have a liberal registry. And we should further stipulate that each name on the registry must be alive, and can only vote once.

Seems there were quite a few things geared toward the ‘guaranteed’ win by hlidabeast. Some lame ass anti-gun movie at the theaters soon. Mz. Sloan or something. The ads say “The Movie The NRA doesn’t want you to see.” Huh? If for nothing else some should see it in order to call out the cornucopia of lies that are carried in the movie. Gun registry schemes. Sadly, the super intelligent folks in clark county (vegas) managed to “obtain” enough votes to get universal (private sales) background checks passed in NV. That was the only county the measure passed in. Sigh. Oh well, carry on as usual. So, there were a few losses on election night.

because she believes arming police with a database of gun records would provide them with an additional tool to fight crime

Yeah, because criminals will be all too willing to register their guns.

I think communist politicians need to stop screwing around with the Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment doesn’t say anything about “gun registries”.

Any kind of firearms registry is a terrible idea, and just as much of an impingement on constitutional rights as, for example, a registry of people who hold certain religious beliefs, or who have a particular sexual preference.

But if any such registry were to come into existence, the law should require that all firearms be on the registry, along with the home addresses and identity of everyone who has a firearm. Including all the government employees who have access to or carry a firearm during the course of their official duties. And that data should be readily available to the public, because whatever reason the government has to know who owns what firearm also applies to the public.

How about a Muslim registry?

The Arlington Democrat is proposing to have the state study whether the registration of firearms in Virginia is feasible...

No. It is not feasible. More importantly, it is not legal.

The First Amendment defends her right to say that.

The Second Amendment assures it will never happen.

Like a wedding registry? I’d like a Kimber

You put this in a whole new perspective. Many gun shop owners should start today! Brilliant!

“...a database of gun records would provide them with an additional tool to fight crime.”

Dumbass. Suggest this demtard visit Chicago, and take a look at who is using the guns. Find out if the guns are lawfully owned by law abiding citizens. Dare this moron to have the guts say exactly what is going on there and by who.

Libtards supporting this in VA have no real idea what they’re really agreeing to.

"how far away is it before the gov’t requires a “bullet footprint” for every gun sold tied to its serial number and the owner of that gun."

Probably further away than it seems on the surface. A tracking scheme like that makes a firearm in the holster of a government employee very valuable to criminals. Once you steal it whatever forensic evidence it leaves behind points back at the government.

Such a system just makes the police and other government employees more of a target for criminals, something nobody wants, particularly the men and women who have to go out every day with a firearm at their side.

You should ask the mods to delete your post. Don’t want to be giving them any ideas!

True. But the libtards don’t like the police, so if police are targeted for gun thefts, so much the better, as far as libtards are concerned.
