President-elect Trump has spent the month since his election victory engaging in some distinctly presidential-style behavior, including engaging with businesses on behalf of the American people, conducting a bit of foreign policy, and delivering sweeping public addresses all before he holds the authority of the presidency.
With weeks to go until he takes office, Trump's moves have tested the limits of his unofficial powers as the president-in-waiting. And although his activism has drawn scrutiny from detractors, his favorability ratings have hit new heights on the heels of several high-profile successes.
"I don't think it's normal for a president-elect to be out and about like this, but this is the era of Trump, and he is literally rewriting the rules," said Ford O'Connell, a Republican strategist.
"Things always change when you actually are sworn in, but at the same time, he is taking advantage of this and throwing his weight around while he's got the momentum," O'Connell added.

Yes, Trump is already the President. He’s just waiting for the current occupier of the White House to move out so he can move in.
Inauguration Day 2017, the day Donald Trump will assume the role of chief executive of the United States, is Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. The nations 45th president will be sworn in on the steps of the U.S. Capitol at noon, when the term of President Barack Obama expires.
I truly hope and wish that Trump makes an announcement on this day that he is sending troops to the border to stop the insanity.

I hope that he’s already interviewing thousands of border patrol agents.
Unlike most Republicans, Trump doesn’t feel guilty about winning.
Unlike most politicians, Trump is getting things done.
If not Trump, when who?
Of course, the Pentagon might decide to take orders from the Sec Def designate rather than the lame duck. That would be interesting turn of events
Didn’t Obama just tell the troops they should not follow orders they do not agree with?
Trump has virtually erased Obama from history in one month.
America only has one president at a time. But after eight years with no president, Americans are eager to get a real American back in our White House.
This happened after the first couple of times he opened his mouth. We’ve had 8 yrs of no-op. In retirement he’ll still be a no-op (only far more bitter) to be rolled out when the dems want to sling dirt.
And The Donald is doing it all without a teleprompter on either side of a podium adorned with the Official Seal of the Office of President-Elect.
If they think he is in charge now, just wait until January 20th!
He is politely waiting for late January to sit in the empty chair...
Compare this to PE Obama and his “Office of the President Elect” lectern. LOL.
Go Trump. Piss of the Libs for doing what you said you would do instead of compromising.
Nope... it shows what you can do when you know what the hell you’re doing!
And he didn’t have to pull out Barry’s cheesy “office of the president elect” podium to do so.
“YES”!!! Obama is a simply bad dream, a drastic mistake made by the American voter, led by weak Republicans, like McCain & Romney!!!
Why Donald Trumps Constant Twitter Battle With The Media Is A Brilliant Strategy

One reason, among many, that I think General Kelly was a brilliant choice for DHS. We have an “invasion” going on at our southern border ... use of the military makes sense to me.
All Trump has done is to receive people and make some phone calls.
So far as I can tell, he has not used his pen...... yet
For all intents and purposes I’d say yes. If you were a foreign leader or business leader looking to cut a deal who would you seek to speak with? Trump or obama? Stupid question, right?
