All the great songs with a warm sound. Those were the days http://www.barnesandnoble.com/mobile/w/we-wish-you-a-merry-christmas-ray-conniff/79611?ean=0074640869228&st=PLA&sid=BNB_DRS_Core+Shopping+Media_00000000&2sid=Google_&sourceId=PLGoP973&k_clickid=3x973
I like the Christmas CD by Jerry Vale.
Johnny Cash Personal Christmas Collection (1994)
The Little Drummer Boy album, by the Harry Simeone Chorale. The song, Twas the Night Before Christmas is a Tour de Force of Christmas Kitsch, in the most heartwarming sort of way.
Al Martino
Mahalia Jackson... It isn’t Christmas until I hear her sing ‘Go Tell it On the Mountain’
If I had to choose a favorite it would probably be the Ventures. Every song features the very recognizable intro of a classic early R&R hit.
The Phil Spector one is great, too. The other day on an Oldies board I frequent, someone asked the question concerning the Ronettes’ version of Sleigh Ride - what happened to the giddyup giddyup line? The proprietor of the board answered “Phil Spector shot it.” That was for sure my laugh of the day.
I’ll second that. Listened to them as a kid.
Wow,never seen that. And I’ve seen it all! (I thought!)
Guy Lombardo...
My late father loved that one.
What Child is This (live)
Martina McBride and Michael W Smith

Yep, excellent album. The best version ever of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen!
I really like Ray Conniff’s version of “The 12 Days of Christmas.” And I really like some You Tuber’s comment on it: “I remember when men used to sound like that. What happened?”
Twisted Sister’s Christmas album is surprisingly amazing. Not my favorite, but up there.
It’s either South Park or Jethro Tull, depending on the mood.
I have fond memories of Firestone’s Your Favorite Christmas Music series of albums from the 60s and 70s
