John Kasich's name floated by rogue electors in unlikely plan
Columbus Dispatch ^ | December 6, 2016

Kasich is increasingly seen as the most acceptable Republican alternative to electors on both sides of the aisle, according to multiple electors familiar with the conversations. They note that Kasich defeated Trump in Ohio's primary, that the governor boasts a high approval rating in his state and that Kasich was reportedly under consideration to be Trump's vice president before he selected Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Given how much Kasich eats, he might be capable running a sewer system...he could personally make it a growth industry.

Actually, I was looking to get more info on Kasich being at Condit’s orgies.

"Believable, yes, but no record of that turned up in a cursory search."

It's mostly been scrubbed. I remember reports of the day that Joe Scarborough, John Kasich and Gary Condit frequented this sex party apartment.

Until then, I was a big Kasich fan.

“As my dad used to say in his more cynical moments, “*hit floats.””

Yeah, just drive by any sewage treatment plant anywhere and you can smell the
“K-sicks” fulminating there.

Found this:

“His relations with the Republicans grew so cozy that one Republican House leader, former Ohio Rep. John Kasich, talked openly of campaigning for Condit out in the San Joaquin Valley. Kasich retreated on the idea when GOP leaders took him aside. But the two rock music enthusiasts grew close and attended a concert in 1994 featuring Pearl Jam, where Condit and Kasich waded into a mosh pit of writhing kids. Kasich said later that Condit thought the mob was trying to fight him.”

One would think vehement denials would have been issued immediately. I don’t believe I’ve heard any such thing, though.

Do you suppose Big Media would report any such thing?

To give Kasich credit he did come out yesterday and say he was aware of this plan, thought it was completely nuts and wanted no part of it.

Got a link for that? More than one person has trumpeted his ignorance of such on this thread. I'm sure they'd love to have their misconceptions corrected.

I can see a sliver of logic behind the recounts. But I can see none at all in Hillary Clinton electors breaking faith to support John Kasich when no Trump elector will go along. How this benefits her in any way escapes me.

If Kasich had disavowed this, there are media beyond the MSM that would report it.

Ooh, trumpeting my ignorance? LOL! You're some sort of Kasich fan, I take it. Don't quit your day job.
