I never attended military school, but I DID enlist in 1965 and pictures like that are a part of my memory bank.
NOTHING like the Marines, but hardass DI's are a breed unto themselves.

I was in Publix the other day and I glanced through the severely discounted books. There was a stack of adult coloring books. I don’t think they’ve been selling well so VMI probably got a deal on them.
People need to find coping behaviors for small stresses that can be switched over to deal with larger stresses later; say when enemy mortar shells are falling all around your foxhole.

As a graduate of VMI, I am saddened by this. I’ve never gotten over their being forced to let women in. It ruined the school.
