Donald Trump’s nominee for national security adviser is already controversial for his hardline views. And Monday, Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn’s son and namesake, Mike Flynn, Jr., is in the news for his statements supporting the Internet conspiracy theory known as “Pizzagate.”
The younger Flynn, who works with his dad at Flynn Intel Group, took to Twitter on Sunday to support a social media-based investigation into whether Hillary Clinton, her top adviser John Podesta, and a number of high-profile DC residents are involved in an international sex crimes ring, trafficking in children and performing satanic rites.
Flynn Jr aired his thoughts, specifically, in response to yesterday’s incident at Comet Ping Pong, in which a gunman, doing his own “independent investigation” into the DC pizzeria’s affiliation with the alleged criminal enterprise, threatened the pizzeria’s employees and customers with an AR-15 and fired his weapon inside the establishment.
According to Flynn, unless and until Pizzagate’s alleged conspirators are proven innocent, there is certainly cause for concern

And this is a bad thing? Why?

There’re two things.
One the “sex crimes ring” which is speculated based on weird things.
Second there is the “satanic rites” which is definite actual fact. Podestas take part, or at least are invited, the woman “artist” running them was invited to Hillary’s kick-off rally and as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put her “art” up at US Embassies (which means Hillary had us, the taxpayer, pay for it).
So these two things are conflated to deflect from the latter, which is absolute fact.
Great news. May these heinous sickos get punished, and their hundreds (thousands?) of victims get justice.

They’re obviously trying to taint “pizzagate” like birtherism. If you ask questions, you’ll soon be called a White Nationalist, to quickly evolve to Racist.
The Left’s use of logical fallacies is stunning.
I can sadly understand the filth and depravity of a secret child sex ring. “Important” people seem compelled to debase their character in filth. The desire to abuse a child is beyond me - don’t understand the attraction. But these things exist in seemingly civilized countries. See Jimmy Savile in the U.K. For a long term addiction.

Not incomprehensible. People that do it are usually seeking power on earth, they care not about the hereafter or the consequences of such. I think many in power and powerful positions have sold their souls to Satan, especially those that champion blatantly sick, twisted and evil agendas.
I guess that from an evolutionary point of view, satanic beliefs are a kind of encyclopedia of things that don’t work and which are, therefore not fact. How many times do you have to burn your hand on a hot stove to figure, “That’s not a good idea.”

Misinformation and unproved information being presented as fact doesn't help us. Here's an example: it's probably true that protestors were paid and organized to cause chaos in places such as Chicago where it got out of control. There's a problem....any facts that would establish that beyond any doubt have been lost in the noise of chasing rumors instead of fact. Can anyone come up with a definitive, factual, untarnished verification of the paid protestors?
If we don't stick to proven facts, truth will be drowned out of the dialogue.
Every day, it seems, there’s some reference—usually snarky—to PizzaGate in the news.
Typically, the Left ignores things they don’t want the rest of the world to know about.
That they are actively impugning this “event” suggests there’s more there.
The Only True Fact from the Right and Left is:
that there is sizeable group of people who make their living off getting people to hate each other in the name of representing that voice however misinformed.
This includes the press and politicians and some in academia and the arts.

This whole ‘pizzagate’ thing is based on some very sketchy ‘evidence.’ Some of which - emails and “fish 14” - really need an explanation from Podesta and others.
But there are some very loosely wrapped but tightly wound people glomming onto this, as I think was the trap.
Flynn Jr.’s logic is... not good.
There are reports that he’s been removed from Trump’s transition team because of this.
