House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi is calling the decision to tap Ben Carson as head of Housing and Urban Development a “disconcerting and disturbingly unqualified choice.”
Pelosi says the country deserves someone with “relevant experience” to protect the rights of homeowners and renters.
In her statement released Monday, she says “there is no evidence that Dr. Carson brings the necessary credentials to hold a position with such immense responsibilities and impact on families and communities across America.”

She can say anything. She got 81.2% of the vote in her district, which is most of S.F. The relatively small, conservative neighborhoods of S.F. are in another district run by another leftist nut.

Sorry, not much of a Ben Carson fan. He ran a terrible campaign and was not a good debater. He didn’t seem well-informed on the issues. Seems like a good man and seems smart, but he was / is not the least Presidential.
My impression of his campaign is that it was a money-maker of some kind for him. I think someone on FR was saying that he was all about selling his donors list, that was his campaign’s biggest money-maker? Something like that.
That old crone is just afraid the inner cities will take a second look at how they’ve supported the “Massa’s” on Uncle Sams Plantation all these years! Dr. Carson has LIVED the experience and if he accepts, there’s no one better to serve as HUD Secretary.
