It’s out of the Michigan court’s hands now. Stein managed to turn it into a federal case. The recount will go forward unless the 6th circuit decides to hear an appeal.

Exactly. How does a Federal judge have jurisdiction over a state matter as the first venue? It should have to go through the state court system first - then if there is a Federal question it gets appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
