President-elect Donald Trump has a chance to stack the courts with conservative judges, thrilling Republicans who suddenly have the opportunity to remake the judicial system.
Conservatives watched with dismay as Congress confirmed 327 of President Obamas judicial nominees, fearing it would further entrench liberal control of the courts.
Now the tables have turned.
Trump could come into office with around 117 judicial vacancies to fill, and unlike Obama in his first term, will need only 51 votes in the Senate to confirm his nominees.

That’s why we voted for him.
Where is he ever going to find three who have both read the Constitution and love it?
Cruz.
Once things are under control, I hope President Trump leads Congress on an impeachment parade, removing dozens and dozens of activist judges.
He’s even got a big sister who can advise him on judicial picks.
And “Fool On The Hill” for Obozo.
Yep. The Court, and the Wall.
Yes, Ted Cruz to SCOTUS!
STACK?
They ("The Hill") claim to be non-partisan but the word "stack" in this context certainly gives a negative tone to Trump's responsibility to fill judicial vacancies.
Notice they didn't say that Obama "stacked" the courts with his leftist appointments.
And...2A.
President Trump needs to have his staff start researching for appointments at all levels of the federal courts. We need to know the best possible picks for every position - young enough to have many influential years left but old enough to have enough of a record that we can be confident they believe in the rule of law and in a literal interpretation of the Constitution. Given how reliably the left picks “living Constitution” hacks, and the right’s much lower success rate with judicial appointments, we need to be prepared so we get it right this time.
He needs to fill courts with 19 year old conservatives.
Don’t need to impeach them. Shrink the size of the courts and make the RATS the ones who get squeezed out. After you’ve wrung the slimeballs out you increase the courts back up to size. I’m in favor of one circuit court for each state with their decrees only valid in their particular state.
I hope so. But Harry Reid's change of the vote was for the lower courts. A SCOTUS nominee still requires 60.

The delays in the immigration courts are due to a lack of judges. Trump should hugely expand the number of administrative law judges to handle these deportation hearings. Make it so the whole process including appeals only take a few days instead of months or years before deportation can happen.
It is going to take additional criminal court judges to handle all the bribery and corruption charges in draining the swamp that covers the entire country at all levels of government, and if those charges involve any use of federal funds, the new AG should argue to take over jurisdiction.
