What started out as a awkward conversation between 13-year-old Drew Breton and his mother about him being suspended from school for fighting, has turned into a viral video on social media giving millions a front row seat to bullying.
His mother, 42-year-old Kimberly Breton said that until the video surfaced she was skeptical about what exactly happened.
"He told me what happened the day before but then the next day he came home off the bus and said he was suspended," said Breton.
Breton said the bullying incident initially took place on November 4th at Semmes Middle School in Mobile County. Out of 17 middle schools in the district, for the 2016-2017 school year Semmes is the largest school with 1,484 students.

Video very hard to watch. What's amazing is that the victim was suspended for the fight, until the video surfaced. He got bullied by the black kids, then by the school administration.

Not that I’m for suing, but this one deserves a lawsuit.

I don’t want the video to glorify what took place, but the perps should be held to account and that means not allowing them to lie about it.
The video keeps that from happening.

From the video it looks like those punching him shoving him are both black and white. This doesn't see to be about race.

More than 1400 middle school kids in one place is way too many. In a K-8 school, kids in grades 6, 7 and 8 can be given responsibilities as well as privileges and encouraged to act mature. In a school with 1400 early adolescents, just wow!
