You can bet the site legislature will visit the law that says taxpayers have to pay for candidate requested recounts.

Wasn’t there already a recount because the margin of victory met the minimum for an automatic one?

Hi MarMena, do you know of the ordering scheme of those names? Apparently it isn’t alphabetical by last name. Do you have an image of the general election ballot and list of presidential candidates’ names?

No. It is a Federal Court. Only one above it is SCOTUS.

No, no one takes it seriously because Bush v Gore said AT ANY POINT the state leg can certify the electors and send them in (which MI already did) . This, according to BvG CANNOT be overridden by even the state Supreme Court.

So they can count, recount, or whatever but MI’s electors are in. Soros can do what he wants.

You are correct of course. We even learned there was a term for such ballots in 2000, they were referred to as “undervotes.”

Ha ha. They'll never do this to us again.

"House Elections Committee Chair Lisa Lyons, R-Alto, on Thursday introduced HB 6097, which would require candidates more than 5 percent of the vote behind the winner to pay the entire estimated cost of a statewide recount."

Which is not what I expected but I think he was trolling by expressing so many concerns during the hearing about doing it immediately.

Now he says it will continue until his court orders it to stop, and does that mean what our AG filed w/Mi SC is not worth pursuing? Overruled by this marxist POS crap from Obama?

If so it is way past time for a states convention.

That is weird. Sorry.

I’m thinking maybe Michigan can ban the Green Party and/or Jill Stein from ever being on our ballots again. LOL

Interesting, thanks.

Looks like voters have to make a very deliberate mark. Even so, Jill Stein is trying to force a hand recount so that every single jot and tittle, on the undervoted ballots, will be deemed evidence of the "voter's intent" (as long as the mark is near Hillary's or Stein's name).

I have skipped voting parts of the ballot when I didn’t like the options, haven’t done it for President but would if I really didn’t like the options. Why would it be up to anyone to decide how someone else shoulda/woulda/coulda voted...when they didn’t?

If people chose not to vote for President and their vote is changed those people would be disenfranchised wouldn’t they? At least it should be fraud to vote or change a vote for another person...

I know it’s ridiculous. When I heard Stein say yesterday “Why would people take the trouble to vote and not vote for President” insinuating that the 75K ballots that had no presidential vote were because the machine did not count them.

I know people who voted but left the president blank because they did not like either candidate. Not to mention there were article upon article of how unpopular both candidates were and some articles where people stated they would vote but not for president.

She is a liar and a manipulator of the truth. Just wish Wallace would have pushed back on her statement just like you and or myself are and thousands who feel the same.

Imagine if this had happened to Obamas win there would have been outrage and there would have been laws in place so it couldn’t happen again.
