Trump will have to have democrats in the mix to get the majority he needs to implement his plans.
McStain, Grahmnesty, and little Marco, Ryan etc. are unreliable.
Actually if he does this right it will be a brilliant tactical move to pass legislation.
He’s my congressman. I don’t know if he knew Trump well before Trump ran, but Collins was close to others who did know Trump well, like Carl Paladino, an Buffalo businessman, who ran for governor. Collins was an early supporter of Trump also.

I hope some Dems do side with Repubs in these Congressional efforts - they will be very needed and will likely be courted well by President Trump and VP Pence.
The Rats have HALF their Senators at risk in two years. If Trump can bulldoze the Rats for two years and really move things a pickup of five or six in the Senate is really possible.
Actually, some of the DemocRATS may be joining the caucus just to get the inside information of what’s going on inside the caucus.
As soon as stuff starts leaking out, maybe a few of the new DemocRATS will suddenly change their minds.
Funny how that works out.
