Very good point. Trump keeps emphasizing: he’s only the messenger of the movement. It’s the right attitude for a leader to take — he’s giving us the credit, and certainly his team receives his accoladates.
But then he jokes with his fellow deplorables: “But you must admit, I’m a pretty good messenger.” LOL.

Could be, but the Dalai lama is a part of the China card scene. I did not mean to imply that he would be present in the White House to promote Buddhism. The Dalai Lama is the titular head of state of the Tibetan government in exile.
I am sure that the DL would be most happy to receive any blessing Mike Pence wanted to give.
