I’ve got five kids but if someone had told me around the campfire or duck camp in 72 while I’m popping open a Jax beer or Boones Farm and drinking bong water from a bamboo bong and listening to Black Sabbath or Zep that one day I’d be with just one girl like forever and have five kids and none quasi dependents id said here you drink the bong water
Life just comes at ya and you better get ready
Gonna have to care for and bury your folks etc
That one hurts
In my extended family of one sibling and 9 cousins
Four have no children
One is a libtard judge in SF
One a pro photographer in Winston Salem but they tried hard
Tragically lost a few miscarrying
They started too late but would a made fine parents
Another is a left leaning libertarian teacher artist in Jaxville
Too self absorbed
Another is a couch tater Spicoli with a trust fund but manages to do right when demanded
My aunt and uncle in Texas are childless and old
They didn’t want to deal with kids
I’ve noticed people without kids either waited too long or they just don’t want to give up their own selves to have kids and it does take s bit of that unless the mom usually bears most of it while dad makes fortune etc
And there are those usually women sadly who wanted a family but never met anyone or chose badly or never were asked
What we used to call Old Maid like the kids card game
When old like I’m approaching sure as shite you better have good siblings or friends cause in the end trust me it’s usually family that does the heavy lifting and dying can be brutal
Wrong folks in America have most of the kids
We needed folks like you to have them..,no offense
Decent folks
I got kids I reckon cause I just love the hell out of man woman stuff
And if so kids are coming down the life tunnel for sure
I have four kids (as you know). I would have had 10 if I could have (medically, I couldn’t and financially).
But kids cost money and for those of us working to support them, it’s hard (easier for those who get govt handouts).
I tell my kids to work. And to keep working even when they become mothers. I didn’t. And that affected me negatively(financially) when I went back to work.
I have four kids. One is getting married in September :) Two are still in college and one an engineer not in a relationship at the moment. I hope many grandbabies but who knows.
We send our kids to college, to succeed, to be able to make a living. To support themselves (here in NJ).
I was thrilled to move to an area that wasn’t diverse. I got out the the city for a better life. Diversity is a negative thing here. It costs me money. It’s becoming more and more diverse.
“Wrong folks in America have most of the kids” Ain’t that the truth!
