Schuette AG also filed an emergency motion with the Michigan Supreme Court asking to bypass the Court of Appeals for immediate consideration.

"if someone alleges impropriety and pays the fee, they get a recount."

You are gonna RUE THE DAY, Michigan Democrats.

Every aggrieved, pointless candidate from every little self important nutball third-party is gonna tie up all of your future counts like the Liliputians tied-up Gulliver. Color-blind voters can't read the green ink, voters with dyslexia were not accommodated, space aliens teleported additional ballots into the box.....ANYONE with an allegation and a checking account can now bring elections to a grinding halt.

That woman clearly does not have a fully functioning brain.

Rules need to be fixed to keep bat-brained, greenie, 1%, losers from trying to rig the election days before the count was due.

They should call Hillary out.
“Jill Stein has no reason to ask for a recount. She has no chance of winning our electoral votes. Now, if the second place candidate wishes to ask us for a recount, let us know.”
That would be awesome.

You are so right. I think that the technical term is a wackocracy. A country ruled by wackos.

Law needs to be changed. Unless you can show some likelihood that it will change the outcome, no recount, period. Stein is not an aggrieved party here, she will still lose no matter what the recount results are.

The AG probably knew how the two Rats would vote. That’s why he asked for it to go to the State Supreme Court immediately.

Just give the summary, which you did. Thanks. I hate clicking on liberal sites and giving them a clickpoint.

This reminds me. Alaska passed a law the prevented the Governor from using states funds to defend themselves during lawsuits. So the left files frivolous suit after frivolous suit until Sarah Palin had to resign lest go totally bankrupt ...

I wonder if they can sue a state out of having elections and instead just go right to appointing democrats?

Well ..... They better start counting fast because they only have a few weeks to complete the recount .... Unfortunately, I believe that if they don't complete the count by Monday, December 19 then the Michigan Electoral Votes will be disqualified and withdrawn from this election.

.... This appears to be nothing more than a stall tactic to attempt to overturn this election and/or take away the mandate and weaken the new Trump Administration.

No, Michigan will still send electors. The State Legislature will send them. GOP majority so they’ll send them to vote for Trump.

This will allow the Lefties to scream “elected, not selected”, which is what they are really after here.

The Trump electors can meet and cast their votes. It would be up to the Congress to allow or disallow them.

I’m getting to the point where I think it’s no problem at all whether the lefties have a talking point (crying point) or not. Nobody will care. They’ve spent their credibility.

I read the comment that the court action could further delay the recount, meaning most likely the whole thing could run out the clock and that the original certified tally will remain in effect.
