With Trump appointed Justices on the Supreme Court, the Nevada background check law may be ruled unconstitutional.
In the Heller decision, Scalia made it a point to say that the govenment could regulate the *commercial* sales of firearms.
It was implied that the regulation of private sales would be unconstitutional.

Yeah, elections have consequences. Nevada gun owners will get a reality check when they find out what hoops (and money) they will have to jump through when bequeathing grandpa’s or ole dad’s guns to their heirs. It will be a good test case for the rest of the states to observe should they feel inclined to be so stupid.
When the sheriffs of two only counties are for a bill, you can pretty much bet that the others will not enforce it. If my neighbors and I want to loan our rifles to each other, we will continue to do so.
