47 U.S. companies join anti-Trump Breitbart blacklist
World Net Daily ^ | 12/1/2016 | Chelsea Schilling

A Donald Trump-hating Twitter user – who is too scared to reveal his true identity because he says he fears backlash from Trump supporters – is attempting to destroy a leading conservative news site with a coordinated campaign attacking its advertisers and claiming it’s “racist.”

The anonymous Twitter user, known as Sleeping Giants, is attempting to take down Breitbart News. It takes screenshots of advertisements on Breitbart and then harasses companies that own the ads, demanding that they blacklist the news site.

And several high-profile U.S. companies are taking the bait.

Are these the companies that don’t advertise on Breitbart? They should have to advertise there.

I would bet that many of the “47 other companies” would be very surprised that they had supported Kellogg in this. Just a guess.

AARP has cut down a forest of trees to produce the brochures trying to get me to sign up for the last 10-15 years, but it hasn’t worked yet, and now it never will.

This sounds like a wonderful business opportunity for some of their competitors, and a chance for Briebart to make a few extra dollars. Offer some lower advertising rates and broaden the base.

Competition is a very healthy thing to have right now, aside from representing American Based businesses. Growth is a Good thing!

Welches can pour itself down the drain for all I care since I don’t like grape juice. They’re all the same to me! Being a diabetic makes their over sweetned jams and jellys nothing but poison, anyway.

Really, when you think about it, most of these food products aren’t really very good for anybody, anyway! Now is a good chance to spruce up the diet with yummy goodies either made by yourself (not processed package mixes) or another non-affiliated company who appreciates its customer base.

These big corporations have been a problem for a long time, anyway.

Tell Udis that you and your family will be Udi-free.

Good idea. Though I must admit I've never bought a gluten-free product, and never will.

In fact when my spouse and I go grocery shopping we try to find products that have EXTRA gluten in them. And we're both healthy as can be.

I’ve been mailing anti-Trump companies since the election about no longer using or never trying their products. I like to use leftist language to tell them why I won’t give them my money. I point out they are being close-minded and intolerant. Using their own words against them always makes me a little happy!

I will be recommending that my clients be aware of Vanguard’s Marxist leanings and suggest that they consider other funds.

Freep their reporting system. Say that the account is harassing others, which is the truth, and give examples.

The better option would be to publicly identify them somewhere they can’t control nor ignore.

Ha ha ha, little leftie dumbass doesn’t have a clue about Google Adsense. Those ads are from companies that he likes, they’re using his cookies. Look at the names. Warby Parker? Millennial hipster glasses. Bombas? Expensive socks.

Go ahead, blacklist and boycott these companies, lol. Ooooh, they “advertise” on Breitbart, lol.

The stupid, it hurts.

Gluten free is only an issue if you happen to be gluten intolerant. This is maybe 6 to 7% of the population. If you’re not gluten intolerant, it’s perfectly harmless.

Gluten is the proteins present in wheat and rye breads, it acts as a binder to help the bread hold its shape.

It has only become the latest fad so the food companies have something else they can label as a specialty product and charge more for it.

Irritating to me, like salt free. They don’t have the added expense of adding salt, don’t have to pay someone to add it, but charge more for it.

Organic, same thing. Growers don’t have to add fertilizers or pesticides, which are not cheap, but they can charge more, simply for that organic label. I grow an all organic garden, quite easy. Mulch and cow manure for fertilizer, that’s it. insects take care of themselves, since I never have upset the natural balance of the local ecology by spraying poisons. The predator insects and birds keep harmful insects in check, as will happen naturally if you let it. But if you bought my tomatoes, peppers or cantaloupes, which cost me a lot less to grow, I could charge twice as much for them because of that organic label.

Pure scam.

Even US Bank is on the list. How very stupid of the decision-makers at these businesses to insert their personal agenda du jour onto the businesses they are running.

The PR departments at these organizations spend billions on gaining good will from the public and then these stooges throw away at least half of the good will and the good reputation in one stupid, self-fixated move that alienates at least half of their customers and loses them customers for good, as people start to look elsewhere for the product or service. Really, really, really stupid move by these businesses.

They would do well to apologize for not thinking through clearly that they are alienating at least half of their customers and making it certain others will never buy from them.

Pre-2009, AARP was in the doghouse with me for reasons I can't remember now. But in 2009-2010 they did the one thing I will NEVER forget, namely give cover to Obama/Pelosi/Reid by coming out for ObominableCare, which helped assure wavering Rats in Congress that "The Senior Lobby supports us!"

No more Welch's for me. No more Kelloggs either. Generic cereals are cheaper and just as good anyway, and exist for most of the popular types of breakfast cereals. For the few Kelloggs cereals that have no generic equivalents, good bye!
