In the wake of recent terror attacks, some liberal journalists and academics have suggested that Islamophobia causes Islamic terrorism.
But a series of initiatives meant to stamp out Islamophobia at Ohio State University proved ineffective at stopping Somali refugee and devout Muslim Abdul Razak Ali Artan from stabbing nine people on Monday.
Artan, who referenced al-Qaida cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki in a pre-stabbing rant posted to Facebook, launched his attack in spite of university events like “Islam 101” and “Islamophobia in America” meant to decrease the Islamophobia that some leftists in the media and academia have said is the root cause of Islamic terrorism.
Earlier this month, the university coordinated an “Islam 101” program with the Noor Islamic Cultural Center. The university’s Middle East Studies Center sponsored multiple events meant to raise awareness about Islamophobia. OSU also sponsored an August lecture in which a Muslim professor told his “personal story” of Islamophobia.
Some leftists in the media and academia have argued that anti-Islamophobia efforts like those at OSU are needed to prevent Islamic terrorism.
After the Brussels terror attack that left 32 people dead, for example, Georgetown professor Engy Abdelkader wrote an article arguing that Islamophobia causes Muslims to radicalize into terrorists.
Similarly, a Columbia University student wrote an editorial arguing that the attacks were caused by Islamophobia.
Around the same time, CBS aired a segment investigating whether Islamophobia causes Islamic terrorist attacks like the one in Brussels.
And yet, OSU’s anti-Islamophobia workshops were somehow not enough to thwart a machete-wielding Somali refugee.
What proved effective in stopping the OSU Islamic terrorist was a bullet to the brain.
Obviously not enough courses.
And now with the latest jihadi attack on Americans, I hear that Muslims are living in fear. We’ll probably backlash ‘em like we always do, you know. I guess the poor little Muslims need protection now.

A phobia is an irrational fear of something.
It is not irrational to fear Islam as it has a long history of atrocities and continues to practice 7th century barbarism in the modern age.
Islam is the problem, not those who recognize that it is in fact a threat.

The victims have not converted to islam so they are infidels. That is the reason they are killed. Take note of the simple cause leftist doofuses.

High-velocity terminal lead poisoning seems way more effective to me in stopping Islamic terrorism.
Have they considered the possibility that it’s not the people the Muslims run into, but the Muslims themselves that are responsible for the violence?

No, they’re not expected to be loyal Americans. We must understand why they hate our country and whatever we having coming to us is our due.
Islamophobia isn’t irrational fear of Muslims. Its a well-founded instinctual response to the real danger Islam poses to our country.
A danger the Left chooses to belittle, deny and ignore.
But a 9mm seems to be hunky dory.
In other news, experts have found that avoiding dark alleys and being aware of your surroundings provokes criminals to attack.

There is no such thing as Islamophobia.
A phobia is an unwarranted or unreasonable fear. It is neither unreasonable nor unwarranted to fear that which insists that you be dominated, enslaved or killed if you decline to embrace it.
