Anybody know when Trump and Pence are scheduled to arrive
at Carrier?

Think Pratt and Whitney just for starters.
The Indiana event is about to begin. FBN will carry it.
2 pm so 3 pm on Trump time.

For those not by a TV.
10% of Carrier business was contracts with the federal govt. Laws already exist prohibiting certain federal procurement be from foreign companies. Moving to Mexico would cause a violation of that law and would force a cancellation of 10% of their business held with the federal govt. Woops. Carrier didn’t check that out before proposing the move. The Trump team, knowing this law, gently pointed it out.
Ha! So true
Thanks.
United Technologies, Carriers parent Corp have secured over 16 billion in defense contractor roles since 9/11. Just a teensy incentive there I would assume. ;-)
Well, does that mean the US govt. won't be buying any more vehicles from El Fordo Motoro Companico?
TrumpForce One just landed :-)
Pence is doing more than holding his own.
Pence has been and will continue to be an incredible asset.
Trump picked the right man.
Tuned in now.
I bet it will be a great visit.
And that rally tonight at Cincinnati will be unreal.
20 Minutes from the airport to the Carrier plant (Less, but thats when he should hit the stage if he goes directly)
Was this in the form of a check? Did you not understand the question asked?
Right, he obviously can’t promise anything federal until he is sworn in
Heh no wonder why he didn’t need tariffs
The problem with that analysis is that the state is already receiving that tax revenue, so unless Indiana also cuts spending by $7M all you're doing is increasing the tax burden on the rest of the citizens.
“so unless Indiana also cuts spending by $7M all you’re doing is increasing the tax burden on the rest of the citizens.”
If this did not happen, the state would have to make for the revenue from 1,000 employees, plus all the peripheral companies where they spend their money. Run the numbers and you will find that it’s not even close. The tax burden would have been 10 times what it will be.
This is shaping up to be a great day! :-)
