A similar tie-in is in place between Stanford and VA Palo Alto. The level of patient care here is extremely high. I’m blessed to have Palo Alto as my provider.
Yes,I'm not surprised.Another example is the VA Hospital in West Haven,CT which has such a relationship with Yale.I'd find it easy to believe that many VA Hospitals located near a medical school have them.
OTOH I fear that the ones in "the hinterlands" might be the ones who suffer in that way.
