The author is caught in the “progressive” media bubble view of the universe, and he can’t escape.
What he does not realize is that the Democrats have been playing dirty for the last 50 years. He is unaware of it, because it is not revealed in his media bubble.
He is unaware that the establishment media protection for Democrats dirty deeds has been greatly reduced by the 2016 election. There is very little left. Donald Trump busted it up and all that is left are fragments.
Without that protection, Democrats dirty deeds help make them a permanent minority party.
