Thomas Jefferson may have been America's first foodie. The Founding Father developed a taste for French cuisine, grew a vast vegetable garden and cherished a farm-to-table diet.

Not clicking on a CNN article. Do you have a good summary? Jefferson had a vegetable garden tended by slaves. Michelle likes really expensive beef and lobster. HW didn’t eat broccoli. Reagan used to leave food by the bed for Nancy when she woke up because he worried about her NOT eating. Bubba liked Krispy Kreme and McDonalds and had the big bipass surgery. He never did any hard physical labor in his life.
People eat food because it is necessary.
Sometimes I skip the potatoes
mashed, fries, though the fries are baked now sadly, and jacket.
Just feels the meal is complete when I eat potatoes.
The farm to table diet enjoyed by Jefferson was all they had in 1770!
That’s what I planned to say... For most of the country’s history there was only one alternative to farm-to-table.

Mostly. Washington, Jefferson, and a couple of others had interesting cooks and/or fare during their tenures.
I'm curious as to what Grover Cleveland didn't eat...
