CA, WA, OR all used to vote reliably red from 1968 to 1988. Now they're blue.

NV, NM, CO used to be reliably red from 64-88. Since then NV is blue in 92,96,08,12,16.

NM is blue in 92, 96, 00, 08,12, 16.

CO is blue in 92, 08, 12, 16.

We're losing territory.

That is true, but the RNC has willingly gone along with the corruption that has allowed that.

They have deliberately not stopped voter fraud or illegal invasion for decades.

Those Orwellian media newspeak colors give me a headache.

We're losing territory.

No.

Trump won more "territory" than any other Republican since 1988.

I'll be curios to see what happens to the western states - particularly CA and NM - when the screws are tightened down on illegals.

Just guessing here, but I'm betting that a couple of million (at least) Dem votes will evaporate.

VA voted r for pres from 1968 to 2004. The last three it voted dem.

Turnout was actually down in 2016 compared to 2008 and 2012, which I didn’t see coming given a Trump win. We haven’t had even 65% eligible voter turnout since 1908.

We're losing territory.

Enforce existing immigration laws and clean up the vote process and we stop the loss of territory.

“We’re losing territory.”

And Texas consistently voted democrat for years. Now the state votes reliably Republican.

Republicans control 33 states. Rats control 11.

Try not to be a defeatist and loose perspective.

IF Trump succeeds and does what he says he will solidify PA, Mi, WI, Iowa, and Ohio.

CO and NV can be won again as well.

If Trump’s presidency is even remotely like what I’m expecting, we will be regaining territory. Trump has the potential to be the best thing that ever happened to the inner city, to minorities, to the poor, etc.

If he can drain the swamp and remove cronyism, that alone will open up vast new opportunities. I’m hoping he can show the identity group factions that the democrats always count on (blacks especially, also hispanics, the poor, the blue collar workers) that the democrats have done NOTHING for them. They have exploited them for their votes and then stabbed them in the back.

Get rid of competition from illegals and that will open up plenty of jobs.

Get rid of affirmative action. We’re past that. Without affirmative action, people will respect you for your skills instead of assuming you were an AA hire.

Stop punishing the working poor and breaking up families with the welfare system. Create a path for people to work their way up.

If Trump can do that, there won’t be many left in the Democrat coalition of special interests. Definitely not enough left to win the next election.
