The four busy rush hour stations were shutdown this evening as people were evacuated from King's Cross and Euston Square.
Emergency alarms sounded throughout the two London Underground stations with automated announcements informing people to get out.
Large crowds gathered outside the station and commuters queued in the cold on streets of London.
Passengers are understood to have been evacuated due to "overcrowding" and stations have remained closed due to "crowd control".
I think two stations are potential crime scene. Police will do investigation.
Eight stations closed?
Sarin attack? That’s the way the Tokyo sarin attack unfolded.
Were a few Muslims feeling over-crowded by infidels and exercising some form of spontaneous crowd control?
I am just curious.
So glad you are above ground! Do 8 tubes converge at that station? Wondering why such a large shut down.(?)
Talk about your target rich environment. Is security tight in these underground subway stations that can hold hundreds or a few thousand people at the same time during rush hour?
oops . #44 was to you.
I’m a bit behind in my watching, but didn’t we already see this occur in Dr. Who season, um, I dunno, series 4 or something?
Reptilians, no doubt.
One of the problems with the tube is no side access. So if a line has a problem, they have to close it and access it down the same track. I think the Paris Metro and BART have access from side tracks or outside the tunnel.
See you in 28 days. Maybe.
Feet don’t fail me now!
But we elected Sadiq Khan who is a Muslim!
Did you make that up? It’s good. And accurate.
Ive known all of the above, but not closing multiple stations at once.
Agree.
Not unless pingman is Otto von Bismarck.
Have you seen “Juan of the Dead”? A crude but funny spin on it, set in Cuba. When they look out over Havana, and a square is filled with shuffling zombies, they think it looks like it always does...
My Mayor the Muzzie!
;-)
“I clicked to find out what the tubes are.”
They’re the things that make up the internet.
I’m just going to go and stuff myself with tube steaks tonight.
God bless America!
Yes, but don’t watch it in polite company. Great view of the miserable lives of Cubans under communism as well!
