Chip and Joanna Gaines are hot right now... but theyre also in the hot seat. The entrepreneurial couples HGTV show Fixer Upper has captivated the hearts of a diverse set of viewers, garnering them much media recognition. But after an article unearthed the pro-traditional marriage position of the Gaines pastor, fans are calling for the couple to reveal their own stance on the issue.
While running Magnolia, their home goods and construction business, Chip and Joanna Gaines were contacted by HGTV about the possibility of creating a home transformation show. In 2013, that dream became a reality with Fixer Upper.

Good grief. The Homo Inquisition.
I also heard that their dentist is a racist...
and their butcher is a homophobe...
If the pastor said “GodD*mn America” it would be fine.
This is insanity. I love the show and love watching them-they seem like people who would be fun to know in real life.
I wonder if anyone has looked into Keith Ellison’s imam’s views on marriage. Or how about the imam of the burka clad newscaster in Canada.
So what does their position on homosexual marriage have to do with their show?
And a key issue is that these people go to church, and their pastor supports traditional marriage???
There is angst among liberals because these people have a clergyman who doesn’t accept homosexual marriage???
Whats the end game? You can’t have a TV show of any kind anymore, unless you endorse homosexual marriage and LGBT issues???
So, in the lib mindset, ignoring the question or refusal to comment is tacit agreement with their pastor so either way, they lose? I guess someone cares what they think on the subject.
Answering the question is a no-win for them no matter what, so just let the public mind their own business. If you think you disagree with their position, don’t watch their show. The Liberal Left thinks it has to draw everyone else into their opinion to “force” people to think their way. Wrong. It’s a free country and as long as their actions impinge on no one else, screw the libs.
I’m tired of this commie, collective guilt BS tactic. Ship these “attackers” out of the country.
Right. People were complaining because they’ve never done a “Fixer Upper” for a homosexual couple. Chances are they won’t, and will give up their show if forced to do so.
Someone needs to get a life.
Oh for Gawd’s sake, leave them alone. They have a nice family show that people enjoy.
Not surprised, HGTV is laden with LGBT undertones. Of course it is a channel catering to home interior decorators. Is that stereotyping??
I watched one or two episodes of these two posers’ shows and concluded they didn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground about actual remodeling and the work it required. They are a couple of fantastic marketers I guess, but that’s all there is.
Seems to me they are solid Christians if they regularly attend a Bible preaching church. Must continue to watch Fixer Uppers
People have too much time on their hands
I don’t care for the show, I think Chip is a putz and for that reason won’t watch it. But I really don’t care what their pastor thinks, really? That is what these Homo Nazis are grasping at?
Sometimes I think the world has gone bad
OMG! They eat red meat? OMG!
And what is Elizabeth Warren? The girl who cried wolf so many times that when a wolf finally appeared no one would listen.
Or maybe she’s laughinig hyena of the financial crisis. She’s constantly in a state hysteria and lashes out everyone in the financial and political world irregardless of what role any have played — while benefitting from a career built on a pyramid of lies.
Warren, for example, who was flipping houses in the lead up to the financial crisis should be called the arsonist who called the fire department and blamed everyone else but herself.
