WASHINGTON ― One of Donald Trumps fiercest Republican critics, Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, said Tuesday that the president-elect should either provide evidence of his claims that millions of people voted illegally or stop spreading a false message.
I dont know what [Trump] is talking about, Graham told The Huffington Post. If he has evidence, bring it forward. If he doesnt, he shouldnt say things like that.
Graham said he plans to introduce a bipartisan resolution in the Senate to show confidence in the integrity of the 2016 elections.
I want people to believe at least, the Senate be on record that we believe the election is fair, Graham said. Im sure there was problems, but it was free and fair.
Trump, in a string of tweets Sunday afternoon, made the astonishing ― and false ― claim that millions of people voted illegally on Nov. 8, allowing his opponent, Hillary Clinton, to win the popular vote. He alleged that without those illegitimate votes, he would have dominated the popular vote in addition to his victory in the Electoral College.

“Would someone from South Carolina please tell us all how this worthless turd stays in office?”
I lived in Greenville County, SC for 15 years. I learned Nancy Graham is a part of what is commonly called “the good ol’ boys network”. Those folks pretty much control most of the GOPe in SC.
Trump doesn’t ever make statements like that without having the corroborating evidence , EVER.
Why would Lindsay annoy his next boss like this?
Maybe he dreams of Trump, the powerful alpha male.
This is the assbutt who is going to interfere and build roadblocks against trump’s agenda at every turn!!! Mark it!!
In California they have done studies with Hispanic immigrants. They interviewed confidentially and from the 800 who admitted to being illegal they received voluntary admission for 13% (104) that they were registered to vote and had done so once or more.
I hope that morons like Graham spouting off on this cause the Trump DOJ to seriously look into this and prove it to everybody.
I wonder if we could get him to shut up.
There are a number of studies out there that conclude huge illegal voting. Let him google them himself.
If Trump could say “Jose Ramirez, 226 East St. voted illegally” and show the documents, then that would be court of law proof.
Going by surveys, self-reports, openness of voting, access to licenses, etc., all demonstrate illegal voting. But Graham will insist only on ‘proof’.
People like Graham will use survey, analysis, polling, and other types of data when it suits them. It just doesn’t suit them with Trump. Because they hate Trump.
TDS is strong in this one.
OR “a hell of a lot” of non-citizens illegally voting for Lindsley Grahamnesty... which would be the reason he’s bitching over what Trump said!
Fierce. Like toothless chihuahua.
Did this loser say the same thing about the dems and their bogus claims? I am sure he did not.
Donald Trump to Lindsey Graham: STFU
Well. I certainly would not argue that point, for sure. I thank you for reminding me. My logo is REAL ID Act. Every state needs to comport and use it as a guide for allowing registrations to vote.
Agree with the Federal-ness of it and its connection to DHS and the TSA or not, but it DOES require comprehensive and conclusive proof of citizenship to get it.
South Carolinians . . . .seriously
Lindsey - you used too much lipstick again - it’s smeared on your tusks - pig.
Donald Trump to Linda Graham: Prove you’re a man or be quiet!
Silence, you ninny!
Hire Lindsay to go to California and count the number of illegals that voted, that should take care of him for a very long, long time.
Can Trump nominate him for Ambassador to Nauru, a small island country of about 8 square miles? He can relax on the beach far away from the USA.
Linda. SHUT UP!!!!!!
I whole heartedly agree. Those who voted illegally are criminals.
