Trump looks like he has just completed a favorable deal. Romney looks like he just realized he is getting screwed.
Not just “hope”, but INCREASING HOPE. SO, it’s the same as saying, “maybe you are not as bad as I thought - maybe you aren’t a total madman, perhaps with time you can be acceptable to the likes of me, Mr. Mitt Romney, King of the Never-Trumpers.” It’s a mealy-mouth half-assed walk-back.
Not even close to an endorsement of Trump.

There is the saying, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” Perhaps that’s why Trump is schmoozing Romney.
He’d still be a lousy choice for any cabinet position.
I’m thinking he uses Mittens for the one thing he’s good at doing: Making money, and puts him in a leadership role of The Trump Empire while he’s serving as POTUS.
Plus, giving Mittens a job is also a great way to keep the Cucks on lockdown.
Crazy? Maybe. But, it would be a YUGE 4D move on many levels by The Don.
This election was about throwing Romney and his RINO buttbuddies out with the Democrat trash.
The biggest mistake Trump could make is giving that guy ANY room to manuever against him. It’s like WAITING for the knife to meet yor back.
Whatever happens, the meeting was worth it for that awesome picture alone.
