During an interview about her effort to recount votes in several states won by Donald Trump, Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein tells MSNBC's Craig Melvin that if she hadn't been a candidate, upwards of one third of her voters would have picked Donald Trump.
CRAIG MELVIN, MSNBC: We should also not this: The margin in Wisconsin between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is about 22,000 voted. You received 31,000 votes in that state. What do you think the outcome might have been had you decided not to run?
JILL STEIN: Well, the numbers show that if I weren't running, or if I would have dropped out, most Green voters would not have voted, and of the remainder, a substantial number, more than one third, would have voted for Donald Trump. So unfortunately, the numbers are very clear that absent my campaign, the results would have been absolutely the same. It would not have changed the outcome in any state.

Dang! Don’t do drugs!
#fakenews are us, the left and snow flakes with their global warming Bs
With as little as she got, I think he did get her votes. She just doesn’t understand the ideology of approval ratings. They’re based upon support, not what’s left over.

You would have to smoke an awful lot of weed....pounds and pounds of the stuff...to be thinking like her. How did the Green Party ever find her? All this stupid behavior...should set the party back at least a decade.
She may be partially right; as a FReeper above points out, the two “third parties” basically gave an outlet to libs who would not vote for Hillary. Their voters may have assumed she would win, and may regret their votes now, but I believe they were strongly opposed to Hillary.
Really? Both of them?
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho! God Bless Texas!
Wish Fidel could have scared up one last firing squad.
She obviously KNOWS it was SHE who screwed Hitlery out of a bunch of votes, and is trying to lie and alibi out of it. Thank God it went that way, and Hitlery failed.
yikes...Bernie’s son ?

Jill “1%” Stein
So jill, if the results would have been the same if you ran or not, as you say,
Why do we need a recount?
The recount is scam to get desperate Hillary voters to fund the Green party. She asked for and got way more money than was needed.
Does jill have any theories on why Gary Johnson did so much better than she did?
I would hit that in a heartbeat....too bad...
Laz hit it. :(
Looks like a bitter feminist in the making. Inability to smile.
Stein didn’t have enough votes to make Hillary win in PA and FL. She almost certainly would’ve given Hillary MI and maybe WI. But Trump still would’ve won.
Can the Green Party kick her out?
Or can they simply disavow her?
