The husband doth protest too much? Bizarre. "Malicious, sub-human behavior" to describe people rightly skeptical of something that doesn't make much sense? Talk about hyperbole!

The best guess, at this moment, if there is any rationale to what happened, is an unpaid drug debt. If so, they will be back if she doesn’t settle the debt.
I hope she pulls through and gets whomever did this.

Well, it wouldn’t be the first time a story similar to this turned out to be a hoax. Usually people that are willing to abduct and torture a woman for 22 days will not return them alive, so common sense says that something out of the ordinary is going on. Might not be a hoax, but it certainly is an unusual situation that raises some red flags.
