some day China will build a port in Baja Mexico and put Long beach and LA ports out of business. If I were Mexico, I’d be on that asap. The longshoreman’s union is doing a good job of pricing themselves out of the market. Then Mexican trucks will carry everything that is now shipped into Cal.

Yup. Only limousine liberals can live in CA. Unfortunately, the liberals who can’t afford CA are fleeing to Colorado.

they leave Cali and retire to a nice, peaceful, sound state all the while enjoying their fat obscene Cali pensions....

they leave because their fat pensions can have them live like kings and queens in other states....

I say states should require all their pensioners to stay in Cali and pay property tax and sales tax etc like everyone else...

The Constitution does not prohibit secession.

California would end up selling out to any money giving enemy and would start a new international border war. They would take cash to survive from any anti-american jihad organization and we would have to have tanks and forts along the border. It would be interesting to get their vote of the federal elections too.

I was thinking the same about Baja; maybe Vancouver BC, too.

They can’t pay.

Eating their share would be a small price to pay to subtract 50+ electoral votes from the rat column and get rid of 2 rat Senators.
