Despite successful fundraising effort, recount of Pennsylvania remains unlikely

After successfully launching a recount of election results in Wisconsin, Green Party candidate Jill Stein is now setting her sites on Pennsylvania.

As of Monday morning, Stein has raised $6.2 million dollars, covering the costs of recounts in both Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, and is close to her total goal of $7 million goal to cover recount costs in Michigan.

But when it comes to the Keystone State, it turns out raising the money might have been the easiest step.

As Stein points out herself in a video posted on Sunday, initiating a statewide recount of Pennsylvania’s vote is “especially complicated.” Unlike Wisconsin, Stein can’t simply file a direct request for a recount, leaving just two paths for a potential statewide audit.

Does anyone really think she was raising money to cause a recount? "Despite" successful fundraising effort, recount of Pennsylvania remains unlikely. LOL. These idiots think she actually was going to use the funds for a recount.

IOW, the Green Party gets to pocket the money. PT Barnum would be jealous.

That’s a brilliant deduction.

I hate that there are so many smarter than me on this board :)

In her video posted 11/27 Jill Stein says some precinct deadlines have passed, some are today (11/28) and some are tomorrow.

“illegals voting”

http://www.yesimright.com/heres-exactly-how-illegal-immigrants-are-allowed-to-vote-in-california/#

“To register to vote in California, you must be:
A United States citizen,
A resident of California,
18 years of age or older on Election Day,
Not currently imprisoned or on parole for the conviction of a felony...and
Not currently found to be mentally incompetent by a court of law”

http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/frequently-asked-questions/

I suspect most of the illegal voting occurred in California, where it had no effect on Trump since it is a Democrat dominated state.

Next time though, illegal voting will be far more common.

Like National Socialists, Inter-National Socialists will stop at nothing to win.

The Voting Rights Act needs to be repealed and repassed to require current US state/federal government picture ID for all forms of voting with respect to federal and state elections. Mr. Democratic Double Voter shouldn’t get to vote twice since it would violate our Amendment XIV rights and also the due process rights of Republican candidates.

The Supreme Court will not declare a repassed Voting Rights Act unconstitutional.

Unlike Wisconsin, in Penn one must have a legitimate reason for a recount....She does not.

You mean her "hacking" reason doesn't stand when all the voting machines are offline thus impossible to "hack".

They should throw out the recount effort.

PA needs a court case win, WI is starting the recount & am not sure what MI would need, to set the bar high, as in PA.

Has it occurred to the Democrats that in demanding a delayed recount that they may wind up DISENFRANCHISING voters in all the states where the recount can’t be completed in time and the electoral votes may not count?

To them, it is collateral damage if it means winning.
