Trump administration will pressure foreign states to probe Clinton Foundation

Foreign governments will be encouraged to investigate the Clinton Foundation’s finances, as many are already turning off money spigots to the scandal-scarred group, The Post has learned.

A source close to President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team told The Post that the new administration plans to pressure the US ambassadors it will name to bring up the foundation with foreign governments — and suggest they probe its financial dealings.

Sending other countries to take out our trash is disingenuous.. and cowardly.

Exactly.

This is making America great?

This is third world cravenness.

AP is reporting that Conway has stated that prosecution of Hillary is now back on the table. Other top transition team members have said today that Hillary broke their deal.

Excellent explanation.

It is deeply disturbing to me that so many seem to be happy to eschew any grave concern at all toward the ideal of equal justice for all, but are instead rather happy to cut Hillary Clinton loose from all responsibility for selling, at a minimum, social favors to foreign governments in exchange for cash to the Clinton Foundation, while she was Sec. of State.

The reason is presumably because dropping it helps TRUMP. WTH??

Add to that her blatant disregard for her high position of responsibility to protecting State communications and classified information, all opened up on a Google account in her basement!

For TRUMP to understand these concerns so well himself, during the campaign, and give chapter and verse of the same or lesser charges reaping severe punishment to members of our military and other lessers “whose lives were destroyed”, it is a disappointment to hear truth turned on it’s head, and stating he doesn’t want to “hurt her”.

WTH???

We can not place the stamp of approval on UN-equal justice just because their name is Hillary Clinton and continue to carry on “consequences” to everyone else for the same or lesser crimes and misdemeanors. What is remotely moral about such a conclusion that no one else matters?

I am really tired of those with the worst tendencies reaping the greatest rewards. Hillary skates. Romney the globalist threat to religious liberty gets considered for SOS.

Who can justify this crap?

drying up the outside cash weakens the foundation.

That is a good time to drop a lawsuit.

Obama provide a pardon to protect her from foreign prosecution. Trump may be putting in place wars on too many foreign fronts for her to defend.

I like the idea of going to other sovereign nations who can read the writing on the wall.

Obama’s pardon does not work against the entire world.

The Democrats have a lot to think about right now.

Trump likes to set up different ways to win; never a single path.

I agree completely that this is tactical genius at work.

However, I had the impression it was “we” who were to drain- the-swamp. It is our own swamp.

Think a step ahead and we will find that along with this tactic of genius, our president shall be beholden to those who drained it, for us, instead of to We The People.

“One unnamed source close to the transition team.”

I said this the other day on Free Republic. Maybe they are quoting me?

I believe that my exact quote was; “Trump doesn’t have to prosecute The PIAPS he just doesn’t have to block extradition.”

Obama cannot pardon her for crimes committed in other nations. He could only offer her asylum or sanctuary which Trump could resend. Obama has no power over Hati.

As to it being cowardly to let other nations try her consider that it may end up being a sort of plea bargain. Either fess up and go to a comfy prison here or we send you there and let them deal with you.

As long as Obama has control of the apparatus, we don’t have squat.

Can’t wait to see what happens next!

I like what I see (Trump appointments) so far.

Dealing with the Clintons is a much more wiley problem.

You sound like you supported Trump from the beginning. You must always have seen him as the best way to loosen the corrupt uniparty’s death grip on power.

But this latest is a bridge too far. Asking the countries in which the Clinton Foundation has perpetrated its greatest criminal frauds to do anything about it is unacceptable. These countries should just let it go. So the Foundation robbed them of billions, resulting in countless people, including children and babies, dying as a direct result. Just let it go. To do otherwise would be third world cravenness, after all.

I think this is a great idea. Foreign countries don’t play by the rules like we do. If they find her guilty they WILL lock her up.
