It only makes sense for them to "participate." When a candidate calls for a recount in an election, the other candidates should have representatives involved as a matter of course.

Interestingly, there are a lot of Democrats who aren't happy about this. The party is trying to raise money in a desperate attempt to win the runoff election in the Louisiana U.S. Senate race, and they see this as nothing more than a stupid distraction that isn't going to go anywhere.

There would be no actionable evidence of hacking, unless it came from the Clintons. They are evil, and I don't use that word easily. The degree of narcissism and Hillary's need for stature is no less than it was for some of the worst dictators in human history. Trump needs to strongly rethink his strategy of going after them. He should prosecute the case against her with extreme prejudice. She is dangerously sick.

Perhaps there is something else entirely going on here.

I am confident (and I’m confident that most FReepers and conservatives would agree) that 99% of any election fraud was in favor of the Democrats. I’m also pretty confident that a recount will not overcome the deficit needed for Hitlery to win. Definitely not in enough states to change the outcome. So what could they be up to?

Some guesses:

1. They are trying to cover their tracks before Trump becomes President and systematically looks into election fraud nationwide.
2. They are trying to create enough FUD to sway electors. (Also an unlikely win for them.)
3. They are trying to prove to their handlers that they have done everything possible to win in order to get themselves out from under whatever threats they are facing as a result of the loss.
4. They want to look into things sufficiently to lay blame on whoever was responsible for their loss. I.e., they want to be able to tell Soros/other puppeteers that they did all they could and put the blame at the feet of someone else who will take the fall.

Seems to me this would provide a perfect opportunity to reveal the breadth and depth of vote fraud on the part of Dems. This procedure ought to be exempt from any agreements Republicans have made in regard to challenging the election process.

One more chance to "find" some more votes and to disallow military votes and to reconfigure voting machines to show a "proper" vote count. All of the illegals who voted, well, their votes will stand, as will all the votes of dead people and all the multiple votes and the hundreds of votes from single addresses. Boxes of digital votes will be found in digital closets that are all Democrat. Voting precinct totals will be revised to reflect some on-paper figure for what the precinct total should have showed. This is a particularly egregious example of vote fraud. Post vote fraud?
