Why is Europe turning a blind eye to Islamic occupation?
Jerusalem Post ^ | 11/26 | Zvi Mazel

Posted on 11/26/2016 3:13:28 AM PST by ErikJohnsky

The one and only state of the Jewish people, back in their historical homeland, is a beacon of democracy in the Muslim-Arab sphere devoid of human rights, left behind by social and economic progress and subject to frequent bouts of bloody unrest. Yet Israel is singled out, again and again, for condemnation.

The European Union, self-appointed human rights watchdog, is at the forefront of the attacks. This is a puzzling phenomenon.

Why is Europe turning a blind eye to the deadly legacy of violence, chaos and backwardness left by the Islamic occupation of the Middle East and North Africa? Why, indeed, is the old continent wooing the Arab world, forgetting its own history and past Islamic takeover attempts? Why is it so reluctant to see that Islam is threatening its future through massive immigration and terrorist attacks? And why is there no such compunction regarding Israel, branded as the last colonial power occupying a land belonging to others? After all, here the focus is on the wrong occupier. From the 7th century onward, the Middle East and North Africa have been forcibly conquered and occupied by Muslim-Arab forces that have oppressed its populations and pillaged their riches. The so-called “guilt” of Israel is having successfully fought the Arab occupiers after 1,308 years and restoring its independence, a feat only one other country, South Sudan, has been able to accomplish in modern times, but at a terrible price – more than two million dead over the 40-year fight for independence from its Islamic rulers.

Very good article, very good thread. That most of the article would be unknown to most Americans (Jews included) belies a colossal failure of education.

There is an even more subtle reason. Companies need consumers to sell to even MORE than workers.

Hard to disagree with that.

But ...

At least some of these immigrants have to add to the productive output of the nation in question or the the companies are just selling into a fixed pie of wealth. Of course if you are in, for example, the food business that's just fine. The luxury businesses will not do so well.

The fact that these “consumers” get their income from the Government (via welfare payments) is of little concern to them.

Those are good points. I think the Brits understood the lie when rejecting their globalist invaders. The multinationals who infest London weren't able to convince them to be good little consumotrons in a dead end economy. A new iPhone and even bigger TV might have been an adequate lie, but the globalists also promised that everyone could vacation in Spain and otherwise be citizens of Europe (or the world).

But the majority, even many liberals, are patriotic and want to be productive, and not service or retail workers.. The are growing parasitic managerial and welfare classes but they lost the election here. The welfare class in particular is overrated and overestimated. Romney made a critical error with his 47% comment by including people who had worked hard or want to work hard but have no opportunities a service / retail economy.

Yes it will. Because the short-mid term effect is that the rich get richer (as we’ve seen). The long term effect may not be so hot, but corporations rarely think that long term. Most CEOs don’t think beyond their golden parachute.

Really? You must know different liberals from the ones I know. Typically they fall into the following categories:

1. Union members - Ironically these tend to be the most patriotic (some, not all), but also seem to slavishly believe anything the Union tells them.
2. Useful idiots - Many of these have been indoctrinated to be ashamed of America. Mainly students & others under 30. However, there are some very competent professional people who fall into this category (mainly lawyers).
3. Women - Too many women are knee-jerk liberals. Many are either blinded by their compassion or disdain for straight, white men.
4. Free Sh!t Army - These are not ideological, but will vote for whoever offers them the most free stuff. Can be of any race.
5. Immigrants - Not all by any means, but some groups harbor fantasies of taking over America. And those fantasies seem closer to reality with every passing year.
6. The Evil ones - These are the most dangerous as they know exactly what they are doing and have no illusions. They are the ones who imagine they will end up in charge if Western civilization is destroyed. Many are in Academia and have zero experience in the real world.

The ten little horns....ten toes made of iron and clay.

Back in 1965, one day in class at Ga Tech my English professor mentioned "the Old Man of Crete". I put up my hand and asked, What is "the Old Man of Crete"?

She replied, "a statue mentioned in Greek mythology which was made of different materials - head of gold, chest of something else, if I recall correctly."

"Oh, you mean "The head of that statue was made of fine gold, its chest and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay?" I replied.

Her eyes flew open, "Yes, where did you read that?"

"In the Bible. It was a dream that Nebuchadnezzar had and then sought the interpretation from Daniel," I said, and stopped there.

"Well, go on!", she demanded. (She had been very antagonistic toward Christianity all semester - at least by Southern standards)

So I started with the empires of Nebuchadnezzar, then Alexander, then Rome, then the divided empire, then the 10 nation confederacy, at which point she said in an awed voice, "The Common Market!"

That had rattled her world view just a bit!

........That practical reason is that with birth rates declining they need workers..

You could get Christians from the Phillipines, Buddists, Hindu’s and Sikhs from India.

Big pool of people, right there, who are not batshite crazy, and only want to work, raise their children, and get a good nights sleep

To bring war, death, destruction and chaos to the western world.
Its a spiritual battle. America and Europe have been given over to their enemies.

Long list but the numbers don't add up. The number of union members is diminishing. There are plenty of useful idiot liberals but not close to a majority. The majority of white women voted Trump. The free stuffers are overrated, there are a lot of them that are vocal, but there are many who are temporary or would like to be temporarily on welfare. The problem is lack of good jobs. Immigrants are a big problem if they get used by the Evil ones. The Evil ones are fairly small in number but have outsized influence in academia, media, corporations, etc.

I think you have clearly identified the enemy in #6. The rest can't really stay liberal or politically powerful without #6. For example the union members I know (MI) are gun owners and conservative on everything except they vote knee-jerk Dem. Except some didn't this time. Some voted knee-jerk commie (Bernie). But even that vote went against the establishment represented by #6.

Why? Two huge reasons:

1. European socialism and in particular their massive social welfare structure will collapse without an ever growing population to pay into it, to support the huge older population that is not working. The birth rate is not close to sufficient, being negative at this point, which means they need to import young workers/payers to keep their Ponzi schemes going. If social welfare collapsed, the people would overturn their governments, throwing out their ruling class. So for their political elite, maintaining their life of luxury means keeping the game going at all risks and at all costs; and

2. The European elite believe they can buy the Muslims off by providing them with government largesse. The Left ALWAYS believes this, with anyone. The European elite are not really Christians, their socialists. They don’t really understand or even accept religion. One is much the same as another to them when it comes to religion - it’s all just make-believe fantasy to them. So they treat Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists as the same...just deluded people who can be converted to the superior philosophy of Leftism by giving them government services to make their lives better.

I used to like Romney once a lot more than I do now. I think he hit the nail on the head with his 47% comment. Over the decades, the Dems have been very successful at slowly turning productive citizens into wards of the State (either full or partial). Unfortunately, too many RHINOs when along with them in the name of getting along.

We had a victory in this election cycle, but unless Trump is successful, it won’t last.

The answer to the title question is both simple, and terrifying.

Why is "Climate Change" so sacred to the far left? Because it's solution, if it was real, would require a totalitarian government.

What is the inevitable result of a large number of Islamists in a country? Answer:Jihad. What will be required to rid the country of jihadist? A totalitarian government.

The are CREATING an insufferable condition, to facilitate change what would otherwise be an intolerable government!

Because the elected officials see izzlam as expanding, with immigration and high fertility, and replacing the nominal Christians. They are just catering to the new solid voting block.

My Father (since deceased) was fairly conservative nearly all his life. Until he started collecting Social Security. Then he became a one issue voter. He would vote against anyone he thought would tinker with SS (which was almost always Republicans).

The SS system was designed by the #6 crowd to fracture the family and society. It has worked in some cases like your father, but mostly the aged are too bought into Walter Cronkite to know or bother to learn the facts. Nonetheless voters 65 and older backed Trump 53-45. Not as good as Romney did, but good considering it was Trump.
