In a poll of over 100,000 Breitbart readers, former New York City Mayor Rudy Guiliani came out as their preferred choice for Donald Trumps future Secretary of State.
Guiliani, who backed Donald Trumps campaign to be president, won 36.64% of the vote share, and was followed in second place by former U.S Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, who gained 26.23% of the vote.
Other candidates in the poll included former CIA Director David Petraeus who won 19.84% of the vote, whilst former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who has been widely touted as the most likely pick for the role, received just 8.25%.

That winning order is my preference, except I rate Guilliani and Bolton as tie for #1.
I don’t see any of those choices for SOS being good choices.
The only weak point of his campaign was the first debate - he listened to so many who wanted him to tone it down. Then he reverted to being himself and mopped the floor with Hillary.
No surprise there.
No Petraeus. Has a criminal record related to handling classified material. DoS needs to square themselves away and that doesn’t come from getting a new boss that personifies the problem.
no neocons please
I think Jared Kushner values loyalty above all else so I cant imagine him being for Romney.
Mitt Romney, who has been widely touted as the most likely pick for the role, received just 8.25%.

Trump went on record as not intending to seek prosecution of Hillary. Typical of the Rat that she is, she turned right around and signed on to Stein’s call for a recount of battleground state ballots. This should a wake-up call to Trump warning him never to trust his former enemies, NeverTrumpers like Mitt Romney.
For the life of me, I can`t see why Trump is so high on appointing Romney as SOS. It`s not as if his talents in diplomacy are so vital and irreplacable that his negatives somehow need to be overlooked. Trump clearly has a political motive. Whether he`s trying to set up Romney in some way or thinks he can control him by offering him the position, I can`t say.
