President-elect Donald Trump is considering tapping Fox News analyst Monica Crowley as his press secretary, according to Politico.

Crowley, who is also a regular columnist for the Washington Times, was an early and vocal supporter of Trump. Politico noted that she warned Fox not to underestimate Trump when he launched his presidential bid last year.

Monica would be good. Laura would be better. But Laura is a bit over-qualified for the job.

Monica Crowley is great, and she`s beautiful to boot. But I think she gets too emotional sometimes, when making her case. Kellyanne is better at dealing with the leftist media. She knows how to neutralize them with facts rather than emotion, which is a much more effective way to expose the left.

Funny how you put “butttt” and “great fit” in the same sentence.

I really like the idea of the Press Sec. being more than the predictable one of a spinmeister. That’s all they really have been for as long as I can remember. To be anything beyond that would really involve having the smarts to educate the press at the same time as “defending” the actions of the President. Laura is more than up to that job. It’s a real interesting thing to consider.

Monica Crowley?

Doesn’t anyone on Trump team know she’s a plagiarist?

Good grief.

The attitude of a lot of the high-profile Trump supporters seems to be that I’m willing to serve in any way that I can...but on second thought, I’d rather just keep doing what I’m doing.

What did she plagiarize?

She wrote about Nixon’s impeachment and lifted whole passages, word for word out of British historian’s Paul Johnson’s work on the subject.

Crowley ripped him off without giving him proper credit.

Don’t know what you mean. I’ve never seen Monica Crowley get emotional at all. She’s always very lawyerly and laughs off any liberal insanity with a wry smile.

Monica Crowley......the opposite of Candy Crowley.

Thanks for the clarification. The post, and the first 8 responses, had me scratching my head. I only knew of the one Crowley (the one who was in Obama's pocket during the Romney/Obama debate), and I thought Trump picked this one.
I don't watch cable, so I may not have seen Monica Crowley before.

Kellyanne is not going to be Press Secretary. It’s a lower level position. She’s on the same level as Bannon and Priebus.

I think that’s why Ingraham his balking too. She’s a bit overqualified for it too with her national voice and presence.

I don't think Laura would take the job

She would have to give up her high paying radio gig

That's a no no

Milo would be a huge draw of young people to the Constitutionalist Cause

...and burn the government that banned Michael Savage from Britain and banned Milo from speaking at his own school in Kent.
