President-elect Donald Trump is considering tapping Fox News analyst Monica Crowley as his press secretary, according to Politico.

Crowley, who is also a regular columnist for the Washington Times, was an early and vocal supporter of Trump. Politico noted that she warned Fox not to underestimate Trump when he launched his presidential bid last year.

"Laura Ingraham doesn't light you up?"

Somewhat. Maybe the second click on a three-way light bulb.

Noticed your San Diego references (Black’s and OB). Wonder how many Freepers recognized them.

I was a Torrey rat for 5 years, flying almost every weekend the wind allowed. Lived just up the street in Del Mar.

I painted the Torrey Glider Point signs.

OB was a shoestring over powerline shthole, but I dated a pro-beach volleyball player then.

Wonder... probably not to many. I’ve live a charmed life.

Hit Lou’s Records up in Lucadia...

Wow! All that sure went over my head.

Is she still married to that ridiculous wingnut Alan Colmes?

>>I wanted Howard Stern or Gene Simmons

Ted Nugent would have been a fun press secretary too. He could bring his bow.

Disagree — Katrina is brilliant and has the gravitas needed for the job.

I still want Sarah Palin. She would drive them nuts without even trying. She could just do her job straight, but they would howl over just having to communicate with her.

Do it, President Trump! Do it! Make Sarah Palin your communications director and press secretary.

Kellyanne will probably be a very close unofficial advisor. Being in the President’s ear regularly has a lot more clout that just having a cabinet title.

I don’t remember having seen this before, but I get the plagiarism discomfort with Monica now:

Oh my gosh!! I just lost a ton of respect for Monica Crowley. I’m disgusted. Sorry for the Slate link but they have the passages Monica apparently stole right from Paul Johnson.

This is egregious and as a lifelong writer and reader, with respect for other writers’ work, I am appalled. I would not have done this in high school. I knew even then how to grasp IDEAS and write them in my own words. This is petty and dumb. She stole a sentence from Paul Johnson that included a British term we don’t use in America. That is Bush league. Disgusted. Sure, I can forgive her, and she has been great lately on Hannity, but this is like seeing her get caught stealing from Target. Trashy and stupid behavior.

Monica’s good. She handles her BIL Alan Colmes very well.

Also good: Tucker Carlson and Tammy Bruce.

How could someone possibly not like and respect Monica Crowley?

That is what I thought 30 minutes ago. Check out my post above with the link in it. She’s a plagiarist and a really poor one. I’m disgusted. Never saw this.

Check my post 189 above—that’s what I thought until about 30 minutes ago too.

A lot of name people like that use ghostwriters, and when they get caught it is really their ghostwriter getting caught. But for a one time byline in the WSJ, such an arrangement would have been pretty weak to admit to too.

Milo IMO is a one-trick pony who gets to be tiring very quickly.

I disagree. He has depth of intellect and is NOT thin-skinned. He can be appropriately acerbic and sarcastic

He's exactly what MSM reporters deserve after the likes of LIBERALS like Josh Earnest, Jay Carney, and Robert Gibbs

Laura doesn’t raise her kids — paid help does. Ask anyone that’s worked for her.

Alan Colmes started his leftist career publically defending O.J. Simpson.

And went after Trig Palin

Laura lost me in 2008 when she introduced Romney at CPAC as the “conservative’s conservative”
